Who's this supposed to be?
0 -
You never played Twisted Metal? What have you never touched a playstation?
8 -
I miss twisted metal. But it is a part of my childhood so the experience would never be the same.
6 -
I mean let's be fair the gameplay kinda sucks, it gets old after a few matches. But it's kind of like the last of us where the Characters carry the game over the gameplay.
1 -
Yes actually. I've only ever owned a Wii & Xbox
0 -
Never admit to owning a Wii. It can't be known that we played sonic and the secret rings. We can't let Sega know we played it.
0 -
i thought i was the only one
finally, i'm not alone
1 -
We're never alone friend. We need more people at his execution, as they watch him fry and the entity takes him after the preacher curses him to damnation.
0 -
MAKE BELIEVE'S REBORN!
MYTHS IN MIND RETHOUGHT!
QUESTION ALL THATS KNOWN!
LEGENDS BLURRED AND TORN!
2 -
To be fair, they haven't made one of those in a long time. Some kids genuinely won't know who the hell Sweet Tooth is.
2 -
And also most adults, because games were extremely regionalised, not just in what was allowed through borders but also just in what was popular in a given location.
0 -
Sweet tooth is the Ice cream truck. Needles Kane is the is the Driver.
1 -
I mean Twisted Metal has a PS3 game it's not like it was relugated to the PS1 Only.
0 -
Lucky US... we never got this game in EU on our PS1. I hate you! ;)
0 -
Your an adult now, go buy it on the PlayStation store if it bothers you so much. I know Black is the on PS store. Not to sure about the others.
0 -
Sweet friend, i am aware of that thank you and i own this game since ages... but AT THAT TIME it was something different and i was envious US had it and we dont. I hope it is more clear now what i mean.
0 -
I mean I wasn't even alive when the PlayStation was still popular. By the time I was born were were about 3 years into the PS2's life cycle. But I understand what you mean. Like how I had to buy a whole ass playstation 4 just to play Spider-Man. And only Spider-Man
0 -
Curse you youngin's making me feel older and older!
1 -
It was still relegated to being a console exclusive....nobody has any idea who the ######### sweet tooth is anymore because of it...
Dead License...
0 -
I would love a Twisted Metal chapter. I wish they'd reissue 1-3, I loved playing those so much. Had cheat code book I got at Blockbuster and was to play as Minion in 2.
1 -
Once again SWEET TOOTH IS THE TRUCK NOT THE CLOWN

Take notes Behavior
1 -
Boomer bush, Boomer Bush
2 -
Meanie!
2 -
I mean... It goes both ways? Lots of people call the killer Sweet Tooth. Lol. This is actually the first time I have ever seen anyone freak out about this.
0 -
Silent Hill is also a dead in the water I.P. Yet it's in DBD. Twisted Metal is forever.
0 -
Because getting it wrong pisses me off. It's a simple thing. People call him Sweet tooth Because they don't know any better. But I'm here to educate the masses instead of making sure we're all saying the wrong name constantly.
0 -
Since it's my comment section I can post this art related to what I'm talking about in the discussion.
0 -
And it's not like Silent Hill isn't a dead IP.
0 -
I like Needles Kane like anyone else that played twisted metal. But how are we getting Sweet tooth in the trials? I don't want Needles as a killer without the truck.
0 -
It could be his mori, perhaps?
0 -
THANK YOU FOR SAYING IT RIGHT! But I mean we have gameplay of him outside the truck in "Sweet tour" my name sake in Twisted Metal Lost. So it's not unheard of, but yeah the truck is a big feature and we should bring it in with him. Maybe it can work like a map destroyer or something.
0 -
As a fan of Twisted Metal I call him Sweet Tooth but that's because I don't care what the driver's names are, I refer to them by their car's names. For me they will always be Outlaw, Road Kill, Thumper, and Spectre. It's like how in DBD I don't care what the killers names are - I'm calling them Trapper, Wraith, Huntress, and Hag not Evan, Philip, Anna, and Lisa. Only Mikey and Freddy I refer to by name but that's because of the movies.
1 -
I forgot about twisted metal this would be a lit skin tbh. Id buy it.
1 -
after being on the db forums during his fight vs the joker... I can't really call him sweet tooth, it just feels wrong. but I do call everyone else by the car name so... take from that what you will.
I never played Lost, so I didn't know.
sweet tooth could be some sort of map travel... idk
0 -
We don't speak of that death battle. Or any of them for that matter.
0 -
they have some good ones.
but not that one.
0 -
If they could get the license I’d love that as a skin
1 -
Heck, you can play as Sweet Tooth in Playstation All Stars. Albeit, I believe his truck is an ultimate. But most of the game he is just on foot with his machete and molotovs.
0 -
Clown is gonna throw Molotovs at survivors as punishment for the years of Being D tier.
2 -
They better change the bottles into molotovs and Kerosene. That would be sick.
1 -
Behavior you listening to us? This is easy money.
1 -
Never said it was the clown, the two go hand in hand.

Silent Hills latest game came out in 2012, they have a movie franchise to develop and 2 more games coming soon and a strong 10million+ Units sold within the franchise.
The Twisted Metal franchise has been largely dead since the early 2000's with their latest game that released in 2012 to a measily 400,000 in sales GLOBALLY....which is so pitiful its actually kinda sad considering accessibility at the time. Tac on the fact that its marginal sales don't increase its visibility worldwide, 3 canceled games, a canceled movie and a sketchy canceled low budget TV/HBO show and you can pretty much wrap it up.....
Not only is it dead....its so dead, that Jaffe would probably have to pay BHVR to utilize the content. Considering the Networth of BHVR as a whole....Jaffe buying in would be equivalent to paid promo at that point....as if the license needed anymore embarrassment. Sony doesn't even have any current plans of putting the license back up for a PS5 title despite the rumors of, and they scrapped it during the release of PS4. Which isn't usually a thing Sony would do to twisted metal since its been a staple release for early gen consoles every time. But considering how trash the game is received globally, and considering the falling sales since the PS3....They're probably in a hurry to ditch the IP....
Hate to say it, but twisted metal as a whole is not long for this earth...

Yeah I'm so excited to play Silent hill Survive or Silent Hill the pachinko machine. Twisted Metal may not be the big name it once was. Being a console Exclusive does that to you when your Publisher kinda abandons you. And this ain't about what Sony wants, they're exclusives are honest to god Trash now. Except Spider-Man. Lots of folks Remember Twisted Metal like they remember The glory days of Resident Evil and Silent Hill. Just because something isn't Relevant right now doesn't mean people don't like it. I mean Silent Hill hasn't been relevant since P.T. and we all know what happened. And it got added out of the Blue into DBD. I'm not even asking for a whole damn chapter I just want a skin for Clown.
1 -
I mean....maybe. But what makes you think BHVR will risk the investment in the license if the profit isn't guaranteed? If the sales of that 1 skin are as bad as the games current sales which for the last half of the games life only made up 5% of its overall reach.....if only 5% of the DBD player base even know ######### twisted metal is anymore, and only a fraction of that fraction own clown, and then a fraction of that fraction "MIGHT" buy the skin....the question is would it even recoup the money spent on development cost and the license fees themselves? Plus if the deal isn't BHVR getting paid from it its BHVR paying and thats a risk NET loss....
If I was being generous and gave BHVR 50,000 concurrent players, they might only get back like 6000$ from a skin like that on the first day of sales....and thats HOPING that 5% of the player base Knows what twisted metal is, knows anything about the character, owns clown, and is then willing to buy the skin <----Thats a lot of what if pre-requisites for a franchise thats no longer relevant. You'd have better luck pitching a full chapter, at least then you could maybe garner purchases from people who may not even know ######### he is, but at least would be interested in a new killer just for the sake of it being a new killer.
And I dunno where you get this idea that Silent Hill is a dead license or series. Just because Konami went through legal issues with Kojima does not mean that their golden goose still doesn't lay eggs. Just because Konami doesn't lay down its 10 million Unit first day release game with Silent Hill...doesn't mean they don't have it in the bag. Considering Jaffe and his closed studios, Sony's unwillingness to invest since the flops, and the general barring of the game from certain regions.....the comparison isn't even close. Konami could say "We've had hidden code done for Silent Hill PT for years and we're dropping the complete game in 2 weeks" They'd cash in so hard it would make your head spin just because of the amount of people chomping at the bit for a new release, on top of horror fans in general. In comparison if Jaffe and Sony worked something out and said "Hey, PS5 Twisted metal drops in 2 weeks".....I can't honestly say it would even break a million sold.....the anticipation isn't there, the fan base isn't there and have largely left and moved on to greener pastures. I don't even think niche destruction derby nerds would pick it up..... Now if this was 2001 and you said Boom Twisted Metal in DBD!!! Oh hell yeah....thats guaranteed dosh. But twisted metal has been mishandled and it started being mishandled after its initial release on the PS1. I remember it vividly because I was beta and QA testing for Twisted Metal 2 and 3 before they came out.
The budget went to hell after 2, the code that was coming out of the studio got more and more hot garbage. And players as a whole started to hate the series because it just wasn't pushed. It was dubbed too violent, or too dark, while at the same time appearing in every wal-mart and game stop bargain bin for 20 dollars.....if it even appeared at all. On top of that Devs not listening to player concerns, aaaaand devs not patching fixes into the game made for a poor game. And it isn't like the trend just started with PS3. That studio has been like that since Twisted Metal 2, always rushed, even after bugs would get found from QA, they rushed twisted metal out as if it was one of the EA studio sports franchises. It sucked....HARD. Could it be salvaged? Maybe...and thats a big maybe. But the first step to salvage anything related to twisted metal is to get it out of the hands of Sony point blank period. After that, let an indy studio lead by the old director actually come out with a game thats edgy and has a worthwhile gameplay loop.

You keep writing whole ass essays. I get it Twisted Metal isn't popular. But that gives Behavior leverage in the agreement. So they can make it in their favor since DBD is good publicity. (No matter how ######### the game is) it wouldn't be hard to recoup the money because it's A. A cool skin B. Has nostalgia tied to it. And C. It will probably be A Legendary skin for 15$. Recouping that wouldn't be hard at all.
1 -
Aye, I'm listening.
Maybe they get their hands on that licensing soon.
Maybe they're planning it right this instant! 😳
2 -
Praying for Twisted Metal chapter 🙏
