Urgent!! World Record?!
I've just gotten the fastest 4k of my life and faster than any I've seen on youtube. I wasn't streaming or recording, does DBD have a playback feature or some way to get into the stats of a match through the files like a "match length" sorta thing? I am super hyped and I really wish I was recording
EDIT: Read my post in the comments, It explains exactly what had happened in the match to show that it wasn't an "automatic dc". They dc'd because all 4 was going to die anyways since 2 were downed (was gonna hook them), 1 was hooked, and 1 was hiding. They were all Feng Min, having the exact same costume so probably SWF.

So far as I am aware, no. The stats you can look up on Steam don't include specific details such as the length of an individual trial, however I don't know how consoles handle that stuff.
Although I think the world record for fastest 4k is something like a minute and a half, hooks included? I know OhTofu got one in 2 minutes at one point, but that's probably been beaten.

Well, the disconnections negate official speedruns, as far as I know. So it wouldn't really count, unfortunately, even if recording was in play.

^^^ this. I'd assume what happened is this:
the one who brought the 'spawn together with someone else' was trying out the character (is that david?) judging by the 'lack' of perks, noped out when they saw trickster. As did the other person who dced. (I assume they dced pretty close to each other)
So, it's not a 4k, and honestly... toolbox or not, at that point it might have been better to agree to farm, take the safety pip and put your energy into the next match

Like they said and I mean it is obvious you can't count dc. I am sure someone somewhere had a match when all survivors dc'd from the start.

Honestly it shocks me people genuinely care enough to try these records or want them.
Would be such boring games to try and 4k so fast.
But no dbd has no replay feature.

Dc'ing unless last hook is against the rules on speedrun.com but judging by the points, I'd say mast lasted about 5-6 min

I dont know if there are actually speedruns in DbD but i doubt this would count. 2 DCs and the rank might have some negative effect to the time.
Said that, i doubt this is even close to a world record. 6K Bloodpoints on 2 survivors... i and my team got destroyed (and i destroy) way worse ;) .

Didn't say it wasn't vaild, I just don't care about it.
Think it's boring for the game to go for records like this personally.

@xEa As weird it sounds, there are speedruns.
Escape:
- Solo: ~3min World Record
- Swf: ~1:52 World Record.
Theres obviously a category for each killer and also killer adepts.
Im pretty sure there are speedrunners for most games available.
Edit: I just checked and they do actually invalidate submitted runs formost kinds of DC, especially ragequits like hooked or downed dc.

Offerings don't affect the score in the endgame screen.

That screen shows your point total before offerings. The first screen after a match shows your total with offerings.

Almost right; the pudding and cake offerings are added post-game.
Or, did I misread that and not differentiate "bloodpoints" from "score?"

speedrun rules
The game must be in full screen.
Any Stretched Resolution or FOV changes are rejected.
You must make sure nothing is covered that is required for us to verify the run.
You must have the lobby at the start of the video.
You must have Audio in your game.
If In game names are turned off, You must show the scoreboard at the end of the game.
The time starts when the black bars disappears. (top/bottom)
The time ends when the last bar under the players name has disappeared in the bottom left.
You must kill all survivors.
⋅⋅⋅ You can use any Perks, Items, Add-ons and Offerings.
⋅⋅⋅ If a player is deemed to be AFK or trying to kill themselves the run is invalid.
⋅⋅⋅ All players must load into the game.
⋅⋅⋅ If a survivor has not been hooked and they disconnect it is not accepted.
⋅⋅⋅ If a survivor is downed (slugged) once and they disconnect it is not accepted.
⋅⋅⋅ If the killer doesn't interact with the survivor and they disconnect it is not accepted.
⋅⋅⋅ If the last surivivor disconnects it is not accepted.
⋅⋅⋅ If 2 or more survivors disconnect the run will be invalid.
