Are you a top survivor and don't want to face the same 3 killers all the time
Simple workaround: Lower your MMR by not using the META perks and not using strong items/add-ons.
(You will start to lose more this way and your MMR will go down.)

You're not supposed to point that out, it's against the rules. You have to pretend that it's perfectly fair to be sweaty and use the strongest builds and win most of your trials.

How to fix long survivor queues:
Make killer queues also long
2 -
With killer it's even easier.
Just play on rotation. You have like 20+ different mmr ratings. You can play and win 20 matches and only have the gains of 1 match per killer.

I use sprint burst, spine chill, iron will and then swap the 4th perk to whatever, most of the time it's kindred. Sometimes I do a head on build (that's slowly becoming my main build tbh). The most meta perk I use is probably iron will, and even then that perk is interchangeable. Sometimes I run sprint burst, spine chill, open handed and bond (or kindred).
I don't use dead hard, I think it's stupid, I don't use ds, bt, deliverance or unbreakable.
The strongest item I use is a yellow medkit with bandages, but that's only when I'm solo queuing. I don't like flashlights and keys are vile.
I still went against Blight almost every game in the last SBMM.
Feel free to keep on blaming my perks though 👍️

I am not blaming anything or anyone just had an idea how to lower your MMR.
Try removing/swapping even more perks then. E.g. use urban evasion instead of sprint burst. No mither instead not iron will. :D

You can, but not every killer is fun to play with. If you prefer one killer but sadly you hit high mmr you are ######### unless you go afk a couple of game

I rather face the same 3 killer all the time than to have my potato teammates kill me.
0 -
Yeah, you can choose to stay in top MMR if you prefer.

I don’t run meta perks a lot, I play solo and my escape rate is not especially high, and yet last MMR test I went against Blight/Spirit/Nurse/Huntress almost every match towards the end. What should I do to avoid that do you think? Run no perks? Kill myself on hook every other game? DC one match a day?
2 -
I don't use meta perks, but I still get Tinkerer Blights, and Mother Daughter ring Spirits. Hell I only have 3 perks on Kate as is.
1 -
Doesn't really matter whether I run meta perks or not, I'm not carried by my perks.
2 -
You say you don't run them a lot... Don't run them ever. Also no items.
If even this doesn't help: put on No mither.
0 -
Put no mither as the fourth perk.
0 -
I am pretty sure they help. Try playing without perks then.
0 -
I played a match without perks by accident. And I got tunneled by an Oni. So please give me all your wisdom of things you obviously have no sense for.
0 -
But I still do good without perks, only "meta" perk I use is DS. Simple not to be tunneled. No point in playing if I'm tunneled out in a min regardless of the killer
0 -
You’ll never get an answer because BHVR refuses to share their SBMMR criteria.
1 -
Ok, put on DS then.
There can always be some unique cases, like a Oni starts tunneling you. Look the trends over multiple matches.
0 -
He tunneled me because it was opportune. And I'm not gonna start taking notes on variables like you nerdy psychos do. I'm here to play a video game and enjoy myself. Not do math.
0 -
There's a flaw in your logic - The Oni had no idea you didn't have any perks so it's not like he tunneled you because you were perkless.
Killers tunnel people all the time regardless of whether they have perks or not. FYI playing perkless survivor or killer is a lot of fun imo.
1 -
I use a perk randomizer which has a luck factor, which is set to negative so it gives me bad builds and I do just fine. Keeps it fun.
0 -
Then I am sorry, you are too good and are destined to face nurses all the time. :(
Maybe try no mither as a last resort.
0 -
So basically throw every match for my random teammates. Sounds like a fun game, I can’t wait for MMR now.
1 -
I actually prefer to have a higher mmr with survivor to hopefully get better teammates. But that ain't happening because I am bad, so I just need to hope the killers are just as bad.
1 -
Since some killers remain the only choice who you want to arrive against strong SWF teams. I think that all other killers need a buff who they come into the red rank. That would be the only option I can think of, if you want to continue many different killers in the red rank.

I am a good player (killer/survivor) and I want get matched with people who are as good as me or better and go against ooponents of the same type. And if we get rekt consistently me and my mates gonna be able to learn how to improve ourselfs against those types of killer. And like the devs mentioned: If there is anything busted in the 5% playerbase they can collect those data and do changes around that.
Short answer, Yes indeed.
0 -
This could/hopefully give the devs a better idea on how to improve lower tier killers because they're so hesitant on buffing them.
0 -
When I go tryhard I play no mither, self care, inner strength and adrenaline, killers can't compete.
3 -
I literally use flashbang and blast mine for meme plays and don't bring items in 90% of the time but am consistently 'at the top' lol and tbh only one meta survivor perk is unfair for killer, (that is, carries survivors) imo. A perk I don't use for that reason.
0 -
Last test didn't feature that many of top3 killers. Most popular killer I faced was in fact Wraith.
0 -
I believe the root of all evil is that they have brought in SWF without punishment or separation. It has too many advantages.
0 -
I have bad news for you then about your MMR... You are not a top survivor.
Just joking :D

This thought crossed my mind actually, but I knew some of the ppl I got matched with back then (mostly from comp). Average hour count also suggested there's no bracket above that, else it would consist of like 100 ppl in total with an average queue time of 3 hrs even for EU.
