Camping is not okey
Like #########, why people say its okey to camp? Dude I played match where I got camp at first hook, thats not funny nor okey, some says that camping its a bad strategy for the killers because the others can use that time to rush generator, but what about the person being camped? The game turns into a painful waiting simulator, this is a reality in solo queu nowadays

Camping may not be okay in your book but it isn't against the rules. There's even some tips in the loading screen against face campers in the mobile version.

The killer is free to play the game how they want to. Sure being camped sucks and if you really can't deal with it you can throw the game for your teammates and suicide on hook.

Im not saying its illegal, but not adressing the problem show how much the devs care, there are plenty things that the devs can do to solve camp, or at least give the survivor a change to fight back, sth like every 10 seconds the killer spend next to you when you are hooked the first time, you will gain %5 chance of free from the hook by yourself, being camped is not a problem for swf but for solo queu like me, its is, and big one. Saying that camping its okey because its legal its saying that genrushing its also okey, well they are both big problems of this game

Going to suggest using more perks that help you in chase and getting better at looping if you haven't hit your peak skill already. Maybe look at videos on how to deal with it. Unfortunately it'll never not be a thing that happens so you'll have to get better at dealing with it or just doing as much as you can to make it hard for you to get caught and be camped in the first place. I will suggest spine chill + resilience for more window safety.

At least I get to use perks like ds, dead hard, Unbreakeable, sprint burst, etc, Im not asking to eliminate camping, but to give the survivor who is being camped a chance to fight back, not just standing there hoping that your teammates will help you

I am not against the idea. It might actually be good to mitigate proxy camping specifically. But that Basement Bubba is just going to dismember you regardless. Ain't no changing that, son.

Unless you change fundamentals of the entire game and how the hooks work, it cant be done anything about it

Recently I have seen some games vs huntress camping first hooks. And it just works. Even if teammates would be repairing, at some point teammates approach to try rescue and end up wounded or in dying state. They were felt very disgusting and cheap games. On SWF this strat is less effective as they can communicate they are being camped and not even try unhook or coordinate for a propper rescue.
On solo q, camp tunnel just works extremely well. I have to say also that many killers intentionally try not to abuse this tactic. I encourage u to play nice vs those killers and not gen rush them and recognize their playstyle (giving them the item, congratulating them at end game chat, or if they have played very nice u can even give them a sacrifice).

Killers don't like being gen rushed, tea bagged, flashlight saved etc.

Yeah that's the problem I mean streamer could send a clip of it if it's obvious sniper but idk it could be difficult yeah but either way sniping is cheating so I don't think they should have stated it's legit

Even though you don’t like it, it’s still part of the game. I get being camped isn't fun but don’t blame the players for it. It’s up to BHVR to help fix the issue and give players less incentive to tunnel. Now killers will probably camp regardless but players feeling like they have to to win games won’t feel the need to do it much anymore.

The opposite for higher ranks. Unless they are close to second stage or death don't expect any killer that's decent to camp. Its wasted time and generates 0 pressure until that person dies and against high MMR players those gens are gonna fly. Only time it's a good strat to camp is if 1. The survivor is close to death or second stage, 2. The survivor is near a point of interest (3 gen or nearly finished generator) or 3. You've lost and want to secured 1 kill and play off altruism to maybe clutch up. Other than that it's pointless

The overwhelming majority of killers camp and it will never change. Only killers who are actually good at the game don't camp and tunnel, and only good survivors know how to deal with killers who do camp and tunnel. Why would someone who is bad at the game make any changes when they keep getting rewarded for it?

I rage at getting camped as well but in all fairness, if camping was against the rules I would require that Gen Rushing should be. It would have to be 1 for 1 in my book. Gen Rushing is the camp punisher so if camping goes so does gen rushing...as an example.

Best counter for camping is to get better at avoiding the killer long enough not to be first.
