The Amanda's Letter add-on for The Pig has been Kill Switched due to an issue with incorrect RBT count.

What am I missing?
What was the point of changing rank/grade colors, and what's the point of again changing the appearance of pallets?
Was there something wrong with Grey, Yellow, Green, Purple, and Red, other than it was what we all already knew? There are five new ranks/grades, the devs just decided to change the colors? What am I missing here?

To show something has changed.
Nothing more, nothing less

The pallet change was so unnecessary and is a huge downgrade imo. Nobody asked for it.

Yeah I figured that's what it was. To change something for the sake of changing it.
Agreed. I love that this stuff is what they're prioritizing. But at least Dead Hard doesn't make the game freeze for every console player now, after like three+ months?

Ranks no longer exist.
They have become grades. This is in the developer notes.
Your matchmaking, as of tomorrow, won't be related to your grade. Your reward at the end of each month (13th), will be bloodpoints related to where you've gotten in the grading and then it will reset back all the way to the bottom.

I mean it is important.
Imagine you quit for a year and return in 2 months.
Now you'll instantly see something changed with ranks.
If it remained the same you would have no clue unless you specifically looked it up.
It's not a change for the sake of change

I'm talking about the color change. I know that they've made changes and that it's no longer rank, but "grade" instead. I read the patch notes. I'm talking about what the point was of changing the color.

You think someone won't know the game has changed in two years?

I think leaving it the same would lead people to believe it's unchanged. I think it's really too similar, still. I'm not sure how I would better differentiate a new system, but I suppose it works OK. I think calling a rank 'ash' is weird. They could have just went bronze - silver - gold - iri.

Because something new is better, even if it's ridiculously ugly in design, it seems.

Not everybody goes on forums or watches video's.
Having a visual indicator something changed is not a bad idea

lol, so now everyone who currently plays the game has to go on the forum or watch a video to figure out what the new colors means. Makes sense. Why change just one thing - ranks to grades - when we can arbitrarily change the color as well to make it even more confusing.

But- but you could read the patch notes?? For the new patch??? Of the game you play????
Or use common sense????? It's literally identitcal to emblems now it isn't science rocket to put 2 and 2 together

The change was because it makes grades appear more like brackets because you cannot go down a grade. It's a design choice. The pallet change is because, presumably, they think it looks better. Like they have done with maps and characters.

You don't need to come to the forums or watch a video, the patchnotes are in the in-game news as well and you can access them clicking on a link.

I haven’t been able to update the game yet, what do pallets look like?

I did read the patch notes. I did play the game. The question was why did the color needed be changed as well. But thank you for this pointless response.

You said that you had to go to the forums or watch a video. I said you can read the patch notes (accessible in-game) since those contain the relevant information. No need to go the forums or watch a video. But thank you for this pointless reply.

I was responding to someone else who suggested videos or the forum was necessary :):):):):)

It was probably to put them in line with the Emblem System. Rather than a separate color code, they used something more familiar.
