Ruin/Deadlock is a decent combo
As many others experience, when a new chapter is released, even if you save the 1M BP to level up the character, you still fall short from having the ideal perk loadout. So when Pinhead dropped today, I ended up running Corrupt, Deadlock, Discordance, and Ruin. Really highlighting the Ruin/Deadlock combo here, while its not Meta, its definitely viable.

Ruin doesn't regress the blocked gen though, but it's good info on what to patrol.

You'd be better off with tinkerer with ruin since it actually let's you stop the gen from popping.

Thats actually a pretty terrible combo. Ruin can't regress blocked gens, so the gen with the most progress (the one you want to be regressing the most) won't regress at all for 30 seconds. Thats quite bad.

That is nasty. We just can't have a decent perk, can we? The best perk we have gotten over the last 4 characters is one that lasts 8 seconds and disables itself. Lol.

I kind of think 3 gen perks in general are going to be decent regardless.

Deadlock would have more synergy with Thrilling tremors and Pop tbh. If you can get a down within those 30 seconds of it being blocked, plus the extra 16 seconds from thrilling to hopefully kick it in time with pop after the hook.

The ever-growing grind has gotten ridiculous. There is way too much content for the little bloodpoints doled out. I switched to PC a half year ago and still nowhere near "finishing" it for the killers alone.

Counterpoint: Deadlock can also screw you out of using Pop efficiently if the gen you are moving to kick suddenly gets blocked.

Assuming the worst scenario yes, but if it's already proc'ed and you down someone before it's over it's usable.
