He feels worse than Freddy to me. You have to stop doing gens or else you can't do gens. He gets to know your location for free and teleports to you, and he can shut down loops entirely by pressing a button. Exhaustion perks and pallets are irrelevant because you have to avoid the player and the hooks that immobilize you.
But I'm glad they devs made another chapter solely for killers that ruins the game for solo survivors. Honestly, this could be the last straw that makes me delete the game entirely. It's just not fun to play as a solo survivor anymore.

Just don't go for the box unless you're next to it, or in other dire situations. Assume others are, and the chain hunts on gens aren't that awful, it's no worse then when people used to tap gens.

Yeah I really don't think Pinhead is op. But he is strong.
One thing I would like to see changed is to have survivors auras revealed to other survivors when within a certain range of the box, which would help solo survivors, but not swf survivors.
Otherwise, I fail to see how Pinhead is op. Killers need to be strong for people to play them, you know. You probably just need to practice more against him. Of course for survivor that's harder because they can't choose to play against him, but after some time, you'll have gone against him enough to have gotten better at playing against him.
Or you can just delete the game, but that would be nonesense. Especially since you probably won't go against him a lot after the first few days.

His chase potential is arguably just a tad bit weaker than Clown, which is still fairly strong, but he has a second objective built into his base kit as well. I feel like he is much stronger than Clown, potentially even viable at high level play.

From what I observed on the ptb his chains can shutdown a loop. Granted they overstated the case as it doesn't work on larger loops. At least not from what I saw.

His chains shut down loops where the survivor is already unsafe, like Midwich pallets
His power is overall just dollar store Clown bottle 90% of the game, with 10% of the game being useful slowdown with his box

He doesn't do much in the open, or at least no more than an m1 killer. His power is not anti-W tool.
And actually destroys filler loops very hard.
His passives are the better part of his kit.

its just feels like for the most part you cant do nothing in chase since you need to break out 3 chains before droping a pallet and he has pretty far range with his chain
second thing that annoys me about him is that i cant se hes wepon until he use it it makes dodging really hard any other killers doesnt have that, you just never now when he will use his m1 and what range it has

You can drop pallets while chained, it's just that the Button to do so is mapped to the unchain action too. You can change this is in the settings.
