My fellow old gen console players, how's the update?
Title. I haven't played yet, I'm having massive ear and head pain so I don't feel like it but that's neither here nor there. I know in the patch they've fixed Dead Hard. Does it work again? Is the game running any smoother at all or is it pretty much the same? Love to know how it's playing.
PS, also some curiosity if console players are also experiencing the DC issue currently when versing pinhead or is it mostly happening to PC or?

Haven’t noticed anything mechanic wise but their match making is garbage. The three games I’ve tried to play none of my teammates did gens. They walked around and hid the whole time

Hopefully, that match making will change when they role out the new SBMM tomorrow.
Anyway, I've only played a couple pf games, but seems fine. No Pinhead fights yet though.

Is pinhead causing disconnects on console or is that just a PC problem?

All three of mine were against pinhead. Very annoying killer. Worse than trickster. And whatever you do don’t do the box. You will never touch a gen or heal anyone the rest of the match

Performance on Switch when playing killer seems the same. Same frame drops, same crappy framerate. If I have to turn my camera to track a survivor, then I simply can't track them, fps continues to be that bad.
The opening splash screen no longer seems to cause the fans on my PS4 Pro to go nuts, so that's nice. However, the menu/lobby screens now make the fans go to max immediately, so I worry it's not safe to play DbD at all right now because I may risk it overheating the console. Unlike the splash screen which I can quickly click through, I'm stuck on the lobby screens. So, they fixed one issue but overall made the problem worse.

Haven't finished a match yet, without dcing, but haven't got a penalty yet, so there's that

I swear this game makes me regret not investing in a good PC and it shouldn't be that way, console should run just as smoothly as PC. That's nuts, I'm sorry it's still #########.

Update feels like straight ass game still lags heavily on last gen ps4

Wonderful. Can't wait to play again and lag hard! I'm seriously so tempted to quit playing for a while. Knowing it's still awful killed my excitement to play against Pinhead.

After dcing the blood web was running at around 13 fps

My dead hard hasnt froze my game and nemesis doesnt freeze me when he punches me. So far so good.
