I figured out why Pinhead crashes the game

The amount of chains that spawn during a chain hunt stays the same regardless of how many Survivors are in the trial.

The game tends to crash during chain hunts with two or less Survivors. So what's happening is too many chains spawning in the same area at once. So the game crashes because it runs out of spawn points and/or it can't render them that quickly in such a small area.

    I'm not sure. I was playing survivor and had a Pinhead crash me at the start of the game during a chase on the |----| old school map. One person disconnected before me, but suddenly he just lagged out and I couldn't vault a window. Next thing was host disconnected.

    I've played other Pinheads and had no issue other than them interrupting me from unhooks and generator repairs. Dunno why they do it.

    I know for sure it has something to do with there being two or less survivors - you're right about that but I'm not sure about the chain hunt thing. I'll keep my eyes out for the chain hunt bar since I seem to keep making it to be one of the last two survivors standing. It JUST crashed on me a second ago with Pinhead and there was a chain hunt. I'll edit here after a few more games with him to see if you're onto something with the chain hunt but I know definitely it does the DC from host with two or less survivors.

    Had it crash on me during final hook and no chain hunt, said the 2 survivors and me finished the match with no escapes or the kills though

    Interesting. When it crashed on me (as survivor), it also happened in the back half of the game, when we had already had a couple of sacrifices.

    Possibly, the game always seems to be crashing near the end when there are 1-3 survivors left.

    I've seen a game crash when there were 3 survivors and no chain hunt - from my perspective it crashed as he picked me up, from his perspective it crashed when he tried to hook me (he was streaming and I was curious). Had 3 survivors all game due to an instant DC, but otherwise.

    My game disconnected me when I had someone downed, a dced guy and a chain hunt active.

    my pinhead games crashed when i tried to pick survivors up

    I have had it happen more than once when their are more then 2 survivors alive.
