Pallet saves are now nerfed.
As per the new pallet stun rules if a survivor is on the same side of the pallet as killer than the killer can not be stunned. This not only got rid of reverse pallet stuns but also nerfed pallet saves. If the killer isn't fully center and you try to stun them then the game will negate the stun. I have tried this out with my friends in KYF and it's true every time.
So now if your teammate is under a pallet you have even less of a chance of saving them because you have to hope your on the side with the least amount of killer pixels or the game just straight up denies it.

Well yea survivors shouldn't be able to phase through a killers face while they are picking up a survivor and drop a pallet inside of them and get rewarded

I know but I don't think it's a good one. If the killer is dead center then you can't pallet save. If the killer is closer to you but fully under the pallet then you can't save. It pretty much negates pallet saves at all.

I'm not talking about phasing through a killer. Imagine your behind the killer about to drop the pallet on them as they pick up the survivor. They are fully in the pallet but more towards your side. You can't pallet save.

I would have to test it. But going by what you're saying, it seems like the hitbox was overnerfed.
It might be worth recording a video with your friends and posting a bug report.

Its the second most questionable change I have ever seen as it nerfed solely pallet saves, number 1 belongs to the stun change of the year of the dog event
I have been on forums for almost 2 years and still never have seen anyone complain about being stunned from the same side of the pallet as a survivor

Yeah it seems like a strange change to me. It never seemed like a bug to me. Why would it matter what side of the pallet you're on as killer. If you're too close to the pallet and it drops it makes sense to me that you would get stunned.

That's really unfortunate, guess pallet saves that were already uncommon will just be non-existent now.

Create a video where you show multiple cases of pallet save attempts: killer on your side, killer in middle, killer on the opposite side. It would be easier to reason about and also would be a good proof for a bug request.

The pallet hit range had been questionable, but not "on the same side of killer." I've never gotten stunned when the survivor is between me and the pallet.
