Is pinhead harder than nurse but less rewarding than clown?
Ik that was the term i heard. He uses a similar mechanic to nurse to form the portal which then he has to fire out the chain which can be fairly difficult to hit. In some cases where it hits it can do nothing because of the chains spawning in walls or survivors just using cover to break them. This also all takes time while the survivors gaining distance. Forming the portal,Firing the chain,Then regaining back control of pinhead. Clown just has to throw his bottle. I will give him that the chainhunts give him amazing 4v1 though (if the box isn't held) so he probably does have that edge and in the other cases where theres nothing the survivor can do and you just catch up and down them quickly he feels amazing. This is also coming from a console player i feel like id be trying to learn a harder nurse so maybe im a little different. How's everyone else feeling? If you can even play him.

Not at all. I think people are overestimating how difficult he is. He is nowhere near as hard as nurse. He is kind of hard to use at the beginning but once you get the handle of his hook it becomes pretty easy to use. He might be hard on controller however.

Yeah your basically playing a killer which has the aspects of huntress, nurse, and clown all together. Which sounds and feels like a nightmare. Imo obviously.

Let me guess you listened to Scott Jund again he’s like the magic conch shell of dbd whatever he says, we have to take his opinion as fact. No offense to him but I’m not a fan of this it gets annoying

Nah im just speaking from a person who played on the ptb with my ps5 controller to get some practice in for the console release. Then when he came out on console thats just how it feels as a console player. Im playing a character who uses nurse tp to form a portal. Then needs to hit a skillshot that hopefully doesn't screw me over. Then need to catch up and hopefully catch them at a loop where his power is actually rewarding. Coming from a person who actually can play huntress and nurse well by themselves idk whyd id play this hybrid imo. Besides his fun factor obviously.

I’m sorry. That’s where the whole feels like clown and more skill than nurse thing started. I’m just angry right now. Sorry about that

He's honestly not that bad.
I haven't got a PC and didn't play the PTP...and I got Merciless on my second match, on the glitchy PS4. I thought Adept was going to be a mission but I was wrong.
His box teleportation along with a couple of handy add-ons make for a relatively able killer.
The chains are admittedly, easy to counter if you know how.

He's certainly challenging, and arguably has a higher skill cap than most killers, but I really don't think he is harder than Nurse, not by a long shot.

Maybe this is just coming from someone whos played nurse a lot on ps5 now. But whenever i form a portal beside a survivor i think "hey if i was nurse i would actually be there and not hitting them with chain to slow them". Sure nurse is slower then pinhead but i personally feel when their both say at a loop as nurse i could just tp ontop of the survivor and down them vs what i have to do as pinhead for the down. Maybe its just my muscle memory from nurse and the power from playing her and getting those downs makes pinhead seem harder?

Nurse and Clown dont have global slowdown/crowd control/tracking passively.
You cant throw a clown bottle through a wall to slow down a survivor
Clown cannot teleport to a survivor to start a chase instantly
Clown's bottles do not prevent a Sprint Burst survivor from making distance (maybe the most satisfying use of chains)
Clown's bottles do not force a survivor to slow (stealth) vault, most effective when it happens at a pallet.
Clown cannot stop someone from working on a gen instantaneously from another floor of a building.
Clown's bottles do not point in the direction of the survivor like the chains do.
Would it have been more effective to play Nurse and just land right on the survivor? more than likely, but we all know you either love Nurse or show great disdain.

To be perfectly fair, he does back his opinions up with research, which makes his videos a rather valuable resource just in general and lends him more weight than most, which in turn creates a bit of a loop where people that have nothing to do with Scott Jund's fanbase use him as a credible example that's become recognisable in the wider community.
I mean, look at Demogorgon and Spirit. Dude went out of his way to disprove commonplace, mistaken beliefs about both by waaaayyyyy overanalyzing footage.

Harder than nurse? Lmao

I wouldn't say harder than Nurse at all, Nurse you have no choice but to blink because of her low movement speed. Pinhead you don't have to go for chains if it's not beneficial and you can play like a 115 m1 killer if necessary. Nurse will always have to blink for her hits unless the survivor is extremely out of position. Harder than Clown yes but he still has a lot more map pressure than Clown ever will so it balances out

I agree with that don’t get me wrong but just I can’t mention it here cause of rules but just I don’t like his attitude. He’s kind of a hypocrite cause he says Slinger, pyramid head and spirit are unfun because of there 1v1 and zoning yet he praises demogorgon yet he has zoning that makes him unfun it’s hypocritical and him constantly bitching about MMR which yes was a big concern about balance and how games are calculated but in reality it’s like who ######### cares it’s a game just play and have fun
