Sbmm doesn't work? Well tough it out anyways to bad for you right? (At least 1 matches so about 2 hours of getting stomped🤨).

Pinhead causing dcs (playing as or against him) Trust the process it will be fixed right?

Broken promises about an offline bot mode among others? Who cares we own the monopoly on this game right?

Maps disables and new bugs affecting killers and survivors...don't worry buy our cosmetics right?

I have been playing since 2018 and am tired of broken promises and buggy launches because bhvr doesn't want to take the time to improve the overall basic health of its spaghetti coding🤬.

We deserve better as gamers...stop giving them money until they treat you the way a paying customer deserves to be treated.

Rant over...back 4 blood and the new evil dead game cant come soon enough 🤑

Edit: think about it any other company would have been boycotted or even sued for selling faulty merchandise....I love this game and want it to do better and we as a community deserve a great product.

I had faith in the SBMM system. BHVR said it worked perfectly. Fact is it doesn't work at all.

1st game as survivor : Terrible killer, hold him in chase like 2 to 3 minutes. Other survivors ? They didn't do anything, they felt down in 10 seconds. Game lost.

2nd game : killer was a camper/tunneler. Survivors ? They ended up all three on the hook at the same time cause they all died in less than 20 seconds around the 1st hooked guy. Could hold the killer 1 minute even though i had never played against the Pinhead, which has a trash design btw. Too much map control without skill required and of course framerate drops all the way with a high end computer.

Didn't they have prior datas to launch SBMM ? I mean i'm 1200+ hours in survivor, can hold a long time most killer mains in chases... Well no way it is working.

You came into a conclusion after just 2 games?

We knew it would take a bit longer for the matchmaking to set in.

If it's still like this after 20 games, then there is a problem.

Not really. I've been taking a break from the game since the RE launch, waiting for things to be playable again and at this point I'm just not sure that's going to happen.

Oh and I'm looking forward to B4B too next month. I played the Beta and really enjoyed it. It isn't the same as DBD obviously but everything worked as advertised even on my 10 year old PS4.

Yes 2 games as they said they collected datas for month. If the SBMM was working, no way i would end up with potatoes...

I still do. Especially now that the day SBMM goes active has arrived.

Just because matches wins aren't being handed out on a silver platter anymore doesn't mean it doesn't work. I have never been a fan of participation awards and believe players should have to earn them. It works better then it's predecessor.

It thinks your a potato obviously. Give it more time as potatoes were LIVE in the last matchmaking so I wouldn't panic yet.

People are gonna keep spending money on this game no matter what issues we face.

  • glitchboi
    glitchboi Member Posts: 6,023

Believe it or not, I still do.

They listened to those who wanted Pinhead in the game, as well as making him a well-designed and unique killer. Nemesis may have been lazy in terms of power design, but they did a great job on Pinhead.

They could do way better though, we need a health chapter at this point, but I highly doubt they'll take their time on that, but I still have faith.

I think there's someone (or a small cluster of people) at BVHR that are worth rooting for. Those folks likely deal with the acquisition of licenses and what not, they deserve some love for the characters they've managed to get into the game. The art/animations team should also be commended as they've done some neat stuff, especially with the newer content.

Most of BVHR though? Replaceable by anyone else in the industry with even a little talent (based on their current performance). The people working there should just be thankful they have super relaxed managers/bosses, because where I'm from, people that perform as poorly as they do get a warning, and are then fired if they do not improve.

So... you're judging the system after 2 games.

Ouch. Friend, I recommend you play a few more games before exacting judgment. Maybe 50?

  • JohnWeak
    JohnWeak Member Posts: 854

Yes, i have to wait for 50 games to have something at least to the level of the old system ? Are you kidding me ? They have gathered datas for months if not for years and once again they release something that is totally broken.

The trials i have played till now are the worst, literally the worst i had in 4 years of playing DbD. THE WORST.

I care about devs, as long as they are happy and being paid well i couldn't care less what product they make. But i can't deny that i am very disappointing with the hellraiser chapter, i had so much hope and belief in BHVR because the resident evil chapter was pretty ok. Hellraiser was the big one, the one the community had been waiting forever for. And pinhead came out undercooked, buggy, and lost all his signature charm.

I hope the devs are happy, i really do. But this was a complete #########-show and i KNOW they could've done better.

  • ggallinftw
    ggallinftw Member Posts: 351

Nope, not for a long time. Tried to in the past but they just keep on reminding me that they don't know what they are doing and don't care either.

Or maybe the system still thinks that 2 vets + 2 noobs who can't even do a skillcheck = a balanced squad.

Having played games managed by other companies like Blizzard, JaGeX, SEGA, ANKAMA, etc. I actually have a lot of respect for the devs at BHVR.

Blizzard with the firing hundreds of people, the sexual assaults etc. JaGeX completely ruining their game, banning innocent players etc. SEGA absolutely milking PSO2 dry after denying it from non-Japanese speakers for 8 years. ANKAMA Support replies to your ticket a year after you've created it (if they even reply).

Then you have Activision, Ubisoft and Rockstar Games which just milk players dry with rehashed nonsense. BHVR might release buggy games but have you heard of Bethesda?

  • DelsKibara
    DelsKibara Member Posts: 3,127

    Precisely.

Compared to the video game industry, BHVR isn't that awful. Their monetization efforts aren't even that bad compared to the sheer amount of ######### in CoD.

BHVR has kept me coming back to DBD since it's creation in 2016. I would say I have a lot of faith in BHVR. They brought me Pinhead, Freddy, Leatherface, Michael Myers, Demogorgon and Vomit Lady.

Thank you BHVR, you are one of the greats!

I completley lost all faith in bhvr when they made console borderline unplayable for 3 months.

I still have, the last test was great for me as killer, I can't judge as a survivor because solo q is already a mess, so i doubt any system could fix that.

Never I had after last year's Halloween and Binding of Kin update. Can't forget how game was terrible with bugs, Halloween event was literal joke even if BHVR did feedbacks eventually. And updates like map graphic update, character modeling changes, UI changes... all these feel like nonsense to me. Like were those something that majority of players wanted? It's merely my opinion but what BHVR does is trully disappointing. Just hope BHVR do something relatively better.

I pretty much expect new features to launch with bugs.

That's your first mistake. Trusting that BHVR would launch a new feature and have it work perfectly. That's a pretty rare sight for DBD.

if you have amazon prime, you should check out the second sometime. I don't know if I can say Hellraiser is "good" but it certainly is "interesting". 80s horror sure was something.

It's also on Shudder and (I believe) Tubi or Hulu right now as well.

I don't understand how they cant do play test on consoles and lower end PC so they can see how the frame drops affect the game...you get it working 4 a couple of weeks without problems then release it...you have people volunteering to help them out but they get refused.

  • latinfla4
    latinfla4 Member Posts: 2,119

I think they said the trashed the old data and only recently started collecting it again

I notice that the fans in my xbox one s always start up for only this game(and no other gamepass games).

Yeah there will be other horror options soon I can't wait🙂

It's just sad...my expectations are to play the game properly not have a cyberpunk launch experience with every new patch🤯

  • latinfla4
    latinfla4 Member Posts: 2,119

The best hellraiser movies are the first two (3 and 4 are arguably good). The ones after that were movie scripts not originally hellraiser and just shove his cameo in.

They are thrillers but not hellraiser movies.

  • latinfla4

Oh without a doubt the story, license, and art departments deserve a lot of praise 😁

  • latinfla4
    latinfla4 Member Posts: 2,119

That right there is the problem (indifference).

I care about the community getting what they paid for...the customers that help them have that job.

Using your logic that is like if I go for a whopper with everything and they give it to me forgetting the lettuce, tomatoes, and condiments.

Why would I be happy with a substandard product I paid for...any person would rightly go and get their order corrected.

They make OK changes, it's just the speed they do it at is so slow...

By the time a Killer/Perk gets improved, another chapter is out with 6 more perks and 100 more bugs.

I don't know who is responsible for their 3 month cycle, but I have a feeling it has to do with Microsoft/Sony (Xbox/PS5). I am sure contracts with them are not cheap.

  • wxnickxw
    wxnickxw Member Posts: 740

Haven't had faith since I came to post one of the first bugs I came across and found out they had known about it for years and if they haven't gotten their ######### together to fix something that dated then how could you have faith in them to deal with anything more recent.

It's just a shame the community seems to bend over backwards to make excuses for them or if they can't go with something along thr lines of don't complain becuase it hurts my feelings when people complain. If they had their feet held to the fire they may actually fix problems instead of run to the next cash grab

    latinfla4 Member Posts: 2,119

Yeah some killers still have bugs from previous patches (nurse comes to mind) as well as trapper having inaccessible traps in ormond and lerys (one time I had a trap spawn in the generator🙄 with no way to pick it up).

    What was your bug?
