That is all. I Am completely speechless with how poor this update is, with how frustrating everything about it is, and how little fun im having. I Can't put it into words better than that. Im having a genuinely awful time. Thats it.

Does being angry at this game suddenly cancel out my ability to play any other game? Why assume i haven't been playing anything else? I just wanted to voice my immense frustration, i've been having a lot of fun with Tboi, a lot more fun than this updates been. This excuse is stupid and quite literally every forum member uses it like some sort of "gotcha" moment when its completely wrong 99% of the time

Honestly, by way of updates, this one isn't bad. Unless there is some major issue I'm unaware of, this release is pretty tame by way of bugs.

What few bugs there are are very frustrating ones though. Pinheads lunge is nonfunctional, my first 20 or so games as him crashed literally every time, SBMM makes matches as him super miserable, and some maps have completely unbreakable pallets. Obviously this isn't a binding of kin level patch where the game is literally unplayable, its just super unfun. Oh and they removed his lines, that wasn't very cool.

They fixed the disconnection thing a few hours after release. Pinhead's lunge being bugged is a little annoying, but he is still playable. And a few maps being bugged is pretty normal. Honestly, I'm pretty happy with how the update went.

To be fair to the op, if no one voiced concerns about the game, nothing would be seen by the devs.
If we don't voice concerns the devs can use it as an excuse and say 'we never saw any complaints'. If we do let them know then it's in the devs hands whether they want to do anything or just ignore it.

The update happened about a day ago if you mean Pinhead or today if you mean mmr. If you were playing something else, you didn't play enough DBD to form an educated opinion on the update. Gotcha!

Ironic that this statement gets upvotes like it isn't godawful advice, when Cote himself said "go play civilization" and was absolutely massacred by the community for such awful advice, even having to publicly apologize for saying it.

I am a very positive and easy-going person in online games these days. I never rage, rarely get upset at all... but I don't think people should be dismissing the frustration over the new matchmaking. I very well may have to stop playing DBD because I played for 5 hours today and had the least fun I have ever had playing this game...by far. I've put like 270 hours into the game and had tons of fun under the old system. The skill-based version feels way too competitive. I want to play this casually, I don't want sweaty matches where everyone is using only meta builds, having no mercy, etc... but that's how today was. I guess I could purposefully tank my MMR but that shouldn't be necessary, and may only be a short-term solution depending on how aggressive their rank adjustments are.

"Waah waah this sucks i hate you all" helps nobody.
Maybe if he actually voiced his opinion and exactly what it is that they hate so much they wouldn't get sarcastic comments like " just play something else"

There are so many people that keep playing this game while it is frustrating them. It's bad for them and for whoever they play with
I always play dbd along with another game that i play if i had a bad match and i never get frustrated at the game and enjoy almost every single match.
i personally despise that he had to apologize to those moronic players who if they aren't supervised play themself in unending frustration.
But it was a good refresher of why this is the worst community. It's sad adults needed to be told this. Even sadder that they actually raged out for it.
If people can't see how "if a game is frustrating you play something else for a while" is good advice then those people should probably just step away from games entirelly before they destroy their own mentality and the fun of anyone they play with

It's 12 hours in mate, give it time for all the pro's and noobs to spread out. For all intesive purposes everyone is back at the starting line, until enough data is gathered to setup MMR grouping.

If someone does not have fun in a game, they should play something else. If I notice that DBD is pissing me off, I will not play another game of DBD, I will do something else. There is no point in getting more and more tilted.
@Topic:
The Patch looks alright for me. SBMM-games are fine. The only thing that bothered me is the bugged Pinhead-Lunge, it really messes me over when I try to lunge around a corner just to realize that it is not possible. But only did two Pinhead-games so far, one was a 0K, one was a 4K.
Other than the bugged lunge, I dont really see anything problematic. (Or at least nothing which bothered me so far)

My matches as both survivor and killer have been miserable thanks to MMR. I don't consider myself that good of a survivor, but every match is just ruin/undying paired with bad team mates. As Killer, I get 3-4 dead hard users per game and they're all SWF groups with horrific attitudes. I usually just play Pig with no slowdown, but this MMR might force me to actually start using slowdown just to get a 2k.
Or I will just have to stop playing the game because SBMM has made matches incredibly unfun.

There's one more bug. Try playing the Twins. Literally every single time you switch between Charlotte and Victor a Generator Completion Sound gets played. EVERY SINGLE TIME.
While it's not game breaking it's really annoying and confusing. By the time you had your first hook you you think there are already 3 gens completed when it's really just one.
