The Lack of Patience or Skill Is Gonna Ruin Pinhead

Did you not see the post I did right above it showing my hours lmao

Cause we are surrounded by little babies

Since you apparently didn't see the comment I put right above you ill put it all again.
Here is a screenshot of my account right after unlocking him yesterday and doing some training rounds on pubs and getting ready for a KYF
Here is a screenshot of my hours. I have been playing the game for about 3 and a half years, but I don't play as hardcore long amounts of time as others, I have other games I enjoy, with dbd just being my favorite, but not a lot of freetime. I'll try to record some gameplay too, but on console and I don't know how to record anything longer than like 5 minutes lmao I am working on a guide for him though, with drawings of loops and where to use the power the best. Like I said before though, streamers like Dowsey are playing him efficiently, and he isn't just like clown with a skillshot. I could talk about some gameplay aspects I do while playing if you would like?

For reason it didn't notify me of that one. Either way. Show us a video and teach us how differently you play him.

Agreed, the main point is to say he isn't really as weak as people are saying, and that his power can actually be used to avoid some of that RNG. I have found that shooting his power past people or away from the wall leads to them not being broken as easily, and like with most projectiles, avoid hitting it at corners

Like I said, ill try to do a video, I don't have a pc and recording in console is a little shite, but ill always be open to telling you some of the tips I've been working on and the playstyle I use to good success. I don't want to be hostile in any degree, pinhead does seem punishing to people who aren't playing the best, i just want to help

Blight also received multiple changes since his released. Such as Buff POV, adjustments to his turning, added the ability to break pallets, multiple addon adjustments.

Which is why I said “almost as hard” as her. The chain takes skill to hit and isn’t very rewarding.

I agree he could be more rewarding, but I personally find him more fun than Nurse.

He is weak.
High skill ceiling with low reward for reaching that.
Some of his addons should be basekit.

I mean, are we talking about Twins, the killer hard-cucked by basic teamwork and using lockers? Or Twins, the killer so rare that most people dont understand their genuinely easy counterplay and so make look really good?
Blight I get. Slinger I get. Oni I get (even with his limited turning). Demogorgon I get. Every other killer I get. But Twins? That one I will never understand.

I don't need a week to figure out the stinking brown turd on the ground is in fact dog ######### and I don't need another 2 weeks to figure out this killer is trash. Pinhead sucks, the only good thing about him on the PTB was his voice lines and those are gone now. Pinhead sucks, that's all there is to it.

Like I've said before, doesn't seem like people are playing him right and barely played for a day, compared him to clown which is a ######### comparison, and then never touched him again. He is extremely annoying when played good, I just can't wait for him to get over buffed because people didn't give it a chance and he will be more hated than rundying tinkerer blight lmaoo

I think you are over estimating how actually complex he is.

This is how I've been playing him and I've been getting consistent 3ks and 4ks most matches.
Both add-ons to make Lament Configuration solving time longer (From 6secs to 12secs)
Franklin's Demise, Deadlock, Hex: Plaything & Hex: Thrill of The Hunt
During chases around pallets I'll bait them into dropping the pallet and as they're throwing it down I extend a gate right in front of them so as soon as it opens I hit them instantly. Then, instead of taking the time to break the pallet I'll just walk around the other end of the tile and get a hit in, if it's long enough of a tile I can throw another close range chain to make sure they don't get away.
Always a good idea to launch a chain in open spaces as long as you can tell the survivor is looking forward and not back at you during a chase.
However, any time killer instinct pops and I know the box is being solved, I'll drop chase and immediately go towards it- Usually with the longer solve time add-ons you can just walk to them but if they're too far just extend a gate to max range and chain them to interrupt their box solving then walk the rest of the way to them.
Also I feel like a lot of people are frustrated by how awkward the chain handling is, you shouldn't be trying to turn the chains at all to use them effectively to get hits. You should be extending the gate right about 2 or 3 meters maximum away from the survivor before you launch the chain, that way it goes straight to them and they have no chance to dodge.
Hope some of this helps!

His power is weak, use him next to a pallet or window on a injured survivor and you won't win, You just made yourself stop for no reason.
Everyone's defending his poor quality power and playstyle because he's from a movie. We all love he's here but we don't want him to be un playable. "He's not easy to pick up" doesn't cut it here, that's downplaying it 100%

Idk, most people i see play that have large hours, big streamers too or my tourney friends on discord say he is good, and I play him pretty good too. His m2 could use some QoL buffs but he is pretty good. Him being just an m1 115% killer alone makes him playable, and his power is great. It's not even as hard as I first thought, his power is fairly easy to get used to even on console, and the pressure and slowdown you can get going is crazy. Seems like people compared him to clown, then got mad when he doesn't play like clown and has a different playstyle. Say he is ######### all you want, it seems like the people saying he is awful really won't change their mind, but when he gets over buffed because you guys think he is bottom tier, don't make posts crying saying he is annoying or op lmao he is already annoying to face a good one

He's definetly going to take a bit to get used to but he's still on the weaker side without addons.
With impaling wires tho he's REALLY scary.

He is only on the weaker side if you are just trying to play an m1 pinhead and trying to only play with his m2 power. His playstyle should be trying to keep chain hunt going as long as possible. People keep ignoring the box and expecting his strongest thing to just keep activating by itself. Play defensive of it and intercept solving. Don't complain about chain hunt but then do nothing to help begin it, it is supposed to be a battle for it, if you leave it alone survivors are just gonna disable it. Survivors are only in control of your power if you ignore a large part of your power

That's what i just said, he's weak without addons because you can't play into his potential until you use addons, you need decent addons to play a Box centric build or at least the Hoarder perk.
Base he's weak, with addons / box build he can be nasty.

It doesn't even super take a box build, my build has consisted of plaything, retribution, deadlock, and lethal. It is just about awareness of survivors and their location. Also something I haven't seen yet, but the box has set spawn areas for maps. I played a couple matches on Hawkins, and I realized the box always spawned in similar areas at the start, so I could go start it instantly. The addons I used were range ones, because then you can reach the box solver from farther away and stop the solving. With hoarder and even Franklin's, it makes this even stronger.

I'll check this out, this sounds interesting, also retribution+plaything is nasty yeah.

Also something I haven't seen anyone else say, the box has set spawn areas for maps. I've been able to go to areas I know it usually spawns in at the start, and begin chain hunt in like the first 15 seconds of a match, and then defended it all game by interrupting. The m2 power is extremely useful as a interruption ability

There is no slowdown or pressure at higher ranks. You hold Shift+W and Right Click at the same time and you're free and even have enough time to vault or stun 90% of the time. If anything small it should atleast QOL update to make the chains hold longer or hinder the survivor a little more
0 -
They shouldnt even hold longer imo, impaling wires should just be basekit, they're way too easy to break.
0 -
Assuming I'm not higher ranks? I'm a red rank killer, and holding w actually isn't even the best against him, his chains slow the most in the open as there isn't stuff to break the chains like there is around loops, chain survivors and then break pallet or vault, it shows a lot. The chains really don't need to hold longer or hinder more than they do.
