Do any of you have connection problems while ingame?
I had 2 disconnects in 2 days that brought me to a 48 hour ban. The thing is that I had no connection problems on my side, my internet is stable. So now I wondered if it happened to some of you too

You'd have to DC way more than twice to get a 48 hr ban.

I know, but while I left enough times to get a 6h ban, I never had connection problems once with my internet, so these 48 hours are not my fault. SO I never even considered not playing until I would get 5 minutes again

Yes they are. You dc enough to where 2 dcs give you 48h.
Also, having good internet is on you.

Again, my connection was fine. I checked, there wasn't a single disconnect for me
Also it only happens in DbD, all other Games that are online are unaffected

So even if I left intentionally to get to 6h, it's not my fault to get up to 48 hours. Even if I wouldn't have left once, I'd still be up to 15 minutes for nothing

Also also, every other game I play can detect if a disconnect is on them and reverses the ban, I had that some times, but you can be sure that the internet I have never had 2 disconnects within two days within a year. I actually never had a disconnect and then that? Also again, I wasn't disconnected with my PC, everything worked fine, only DbD just closed the round I was in, so I'm 80% sure it's their servers because my side is fine

I'm just trying to say that no matter how much I left, I still am only responsible for 6h of ban, not 48. Also even if the internet would be my fault, it shouldn't be ban worthy, that just ruins the fun. Especially because I was killer and the survivors basically escaped and just started another round. That's not 48h of ban worth

We keep the DC penalty short for incidences like this, where something happens and you get accidentally disconnected. If you'd not been leaving matches prior to this you would not have a 48hr ban right now.

No matter how long the ban would be, it's an undeserved one that should be lifted if there's evidence in the logs that I didn't just pull the plug. I once complained about a 5 minute ban too

We are unable to lift DC bans, also the system cannot tell whether it's an accidental DC or a deliberate one, due to the way loss of connection can be manipulated.

As I said, I would have had a 6h ban only. I already waited for the 24h ban to pass that I got the same way, so now that it happened again, it would be really unfair to just leave it like that

Well then. There's still the server logs. I don't say it was an accident on my side. I am saying that my side was fine, it has to be a server problem. If there's evidence for a bug that disconnects players, there should be an unban, because then you can definitely see that what side caused it

Yesterday I had a 5min ban because the game disconnected, and the results said the killer dc... and I got punish.

It really seems that it's a bug that came with the Cenobite Update. I really am not in charge of deciding over bans, I just am disappointed that if Behaviour knows about that bug, they don't just disable the DC ban system until the bug is resolved. It's just a disconnect, not a racial slur. Noone really cares about a disconnect. Sure it's not great for the game, but not everyone plays the game hardcore like in E-Sports.
Can't there be two gamemodes? Matchmaking with a ban and Causal without a ban for having fun?
