Thoughts after playing Pinhead for hours....
He's fun! I dont think I am skilled enough to judge his potential as I am still learning him but trying for his adept was pretty great. Anyone else enjoying him so far? Minus the lunge bug that can be pretty annoying.

i dont think ive enjoyed playing killer this much for a long time!

Having to handle the chain event so much during a game is really crippling.
I think people are going to find that he's one of the best Killers.

I think its the animations. Seeing a survivor get trapped in chains instead of teabagging you or running away is pretty satisfying to see.

He's really fun and i think he has a really high Skill ceiling , i'm pretty sure his power can be used in very creative ways but i need to experiment with him more .

Pretty fun, also the animations have a calm nature which helps to keep my calm even if I start losing.

Gives a "let's see if you can escape" attitude instead of an "I must sacrifice you all".

He is fun, even if his standard chains can be easily avoided by more savvy survivors. Obviously the disconnection bug which came with the new chapter is not actually a reflection of the character's own actual fun factor, but it is obviously irritating.
As a long time Hellraiser fan, I can appreciate the authenticity of Pinhead. They did well to add the little touches, like some of the add-on items.
Although the game is currently unstable, Pinhead as an addition is a win.

He's fun, but he also feels weak (not as weak as clown though)

After achieving his adept and playing 10 total hours with him. I came to the conclusion that his maximum power could not dominate the game, which I realized that the pinhead himself could break his chains if he crossed them, so yes, he is weak. I think I'm tired of them doing killers that make the survivors take away the power of him, They already go with Ghostface and now Pinhead, with Pinhead it should not be the case. It is fun and unique. His power has real potential but he needs a big buff to make him more proficient.

He's fun but weak.
- Chains are too punishing to miss and not too rewarding when landed.
- He need's to stop breaking his own chains.
- The RNG needs to stop spawning chains behind walls or obstacles.
- There needs to be a greater punishment for holding the box hostage.
- The ultra rare add on that makes it so the box is unseen within 16 meters is amazing. Personally I think this should be base kit but that could just be my opinion since I'm seeing survivors hold onto the box so only they get hit by chain hunt.

The timer for his chain hunt to start really needs to be increased.

His power is high risk, little reward. Whatever numbers they use to generate chain spawns need to take into account surroundings. If lots of walls, maybe aim from higher or above?
I watched a box holder run straight and hardly get tagged by the ‘punishing’ chain hunt. It was ridiculous.
using the chain yourself can be little rewarding. if you hit, survivor can break the chains too easily. Compared amount of time to use the chains vs being broken doesn’t amount to much of a difference.
The teleporting takes too long once a survivor starts to solve the box. By the time you get there, the puzzle is solved and they’re already running at a good pace or they’re hiding at a strong vault or pallet camping. That’s only if they didn’t wait until you started a chase with another survivor or you’ve picked one up.
it comes down to the fact that his power is completely dependent on the survivors. Smart survivors, shite powers. Potato survivors, great powers.
animations are good. He’s fun but overly weak. A lot of the maps tend to cancel him out.

Another Pc exclusive...yeeeeh...

As others have said he is weak and his power feels like it hinders him more than it helps him.
Holding the box hostage should reveal the aura of the box, much like when survivors hold Victor hostage.
