For Survivors: Thoughts on When Survivors Attempt a Kobe in Your Face
For Survivors, what do you think when you run all the way over to get someone and they attempt a Kobe in your face?
I'm not talking about the times when a hooked Survivor attempts a Kobe, even if someone is on the way, because they are going to go into stage 2 and this is the only chance they have at not being dead on hook.
I'm talking about the times when you go to get someone (maybe from all the way across the map after you finished your gen), and even though you will get them before they hit stage 2, they attempt a Kobe in your face, fail, and automatically put themselves into stage 2.
Do you find it funny? Annoying? Not care at all?

As a wglf user I hate it

"That's fine I didn't want us to use Borrowed Time, or We'll Make It either. Let's just heal now - Slow and defenseless"
"Ah, Mangled. Even better."

I remember once i used Deliverance right in the face of my teammate after he came across the whole map to rescue me. He immediately dc'd after that. I guess he had a challenge. Still feel bad about it.

Don't care.

I can heal them faster.

One of my friends does this when we play together and honestly I just don't care after that. If you put yourself into stage 2 just for a chance to unhook yourself and giggle at me for wasting my time to run over then don't expect me to body block for you or heal you.

If I see someone attempt escape as I'm running up I turn around because I assume they're trying to hook suicide, anyone that I've saved trying to do that end out being spiteful and try getting everyone killed because they were saved. If they manage to unhook I just head back to my gen to finish it, they can come help finish it if they want a heal.

As someone who almost always runs these perks as well as WGLF (at least one of the three) I hate those that jump/try to jump into my face.
either way I think letting yourself get unhooked and letting yourself get healed should score some BP in the Survival category. Thus incentivizing letting yourself get healed instead of self caring in a corner as well not trying to unhook yourself if there is someone RIGHT there that can help you.

They piss me off tbh. I see it as a sign of disrespect/big ego/them not being team players.
I dislike them and I am not going out of my way to protect people like that, or sacrifice for them.

I get a bit annoyed when this happens because I could've used the time I wasted running to unhook that survivor to do gens or something else. And if they fail, it's a waste of a health state.

Agreed.
It barely happens to me, so most of the time I actually don't care or can even laugh about it (guess it depends on how the games are going). But yesterday my teammate did that to me and it really annoyed me. I ran all the way across the map for them after turning on the only gen, so for them to do that in my face, and put themselves into stage 2 for no reason, seemed really rude and disrespectful to the team. So I just stared at them for a few seconds while they struggled on the hook and then unhooked them. Didn't heal them though.

If they fail, it's business as usual. Sometimes I'll even back off and aborting the rescue (cause I'll assume they are killing themselves).
If they succeed depends on how far I had to walk. If they were close, business as usual, if I had to run over from the other side of the map they are on their own I won't stick around risking a killer coming back for paltry healing points.
What really annoys me is the Deliverance users who do it in your face when you could of had a safe save. Good going now they wasted another survivor's time and cannot even get healed.

On one hand, I hate it when I go cross map for them and they try it. On the other, as a slippery meat enthusiast, my team needs to hop off just a bit and let me go for it. At least 3 attempts, please.

Yep. Can definitely agree it's situational.

I find it really hilarious. Even if i ran across the entire map to get them, well now im here so i might as well heal you while laughing about it. The fact theres such a small chance for it to happen just means im always awestruck when they actually do manage to do it, i think its a silly little part of DBD that adds to my enjoyment. I don't tend to do it myself though, in case my teammates have we'll make it.

This is one of the reasons the Not Today achievement is such a bad idea. If it was just 5 times, I could understand. But 50 times just encourages toxic gameplay on a long term basis.
