Performance matchmaking isn't that fair and seriously matchmaking ban

How is it that i get 2 kills 2 KILLS that i should face survivors that are way more skilled then me that doesn't make sense at all.

And seriously if rank reset happens same thing should happen for matchmaking ban or how about this get rid of it multiplier games i've done don't have matchmaking ban what's the point of it in the first place.

    I had one good day the other day of matchmaking. Now it's gone back to 0k or 1k and still getting the stronger survivors no matter how many matches I lose. Tried playing a lot of spirit matches and getting trounced in every single one of them.

    Don't dc and you won't get the ban. Disconnecting hurts everyone in the game so you should get a ban. If it's an unintentional disconnect happening many times, you should take that ban time and find the cause of the problem.

    Just wondering how many hour are you im around 400 and its been the same experience for me really good survivors full meta 0-1k most games.

    Over 2k spread over PS4 and PS5 and Xbox. I'm not a good killer but losing match after match so badly against much stronger survivors than me should end up with more balanced matches.

    Well not today it seems, loss after loss after loss.

    Can't tell because I play on console i don't think,they tell you how many hours you play.

    2K is actually a balanced match and what the MMR is aiming for when placing you in lobbies. So seems it's working fine.

    Matchmaking ban/dc penalty exists so people feel much less inclined to leave games if it isn't going their way.

    I don't think this system is working the way that BHVR says it should be.

    I'm trying to get Adept Hag since rank reset just happened and I still needed this trophy. I know how to play Hag and have been a killer main for a long time, but I almost never play her except for dailies because I don't find her that fun. I'm getting demolished over and over trying to get this achievement by very strong survivor teams that know how to counter her perfectly. They're either destroying all my traps with flashlights, following and spotting where I'm putting traps and triggering the traps at the very edge intentionally and bee-lining to the nearest strong structure, and they're immediately running off and healing after getting hit so I never get a chance to get a down from a teleport. I'm talking seven out of the last eight matches have been four escapes with one of the games I didn't even have a hook by the time 4 gens were done, so I just stopped playing and opened the gates when the completed the last gen. My MMR is not adjusting to the fact that I'm getting stomped every game. I keep getting the same extremely strong teams over and over again.

    Nani? It sounds like you literally got peak match making lol. 2k's is what they generally balance around, so it sounds like you're at your proper level.

    The matchmaker sounds like it's doing fine. You just have to learn how to play against those better Survivors.

    There is no more rank reset, it's now the grade that resets. Your grade has no effect on the matchmaking so you will keep getting matched with players around your sbmm rating.

    I understand what you mean about the matches though. I keep getting 0k or 1k and they are not getting any easier.

    Getting consistent 2k doesn't seem to be problem, the real problem is getting either 0 kill or 4 kills tbh...

    Oh yeah, I understand the matches aren't necessarily going to get easier purely because my grade/rank reset. I meant that the adept challenges get easier after rank reset, which is still the case with the new grade system. In the lower ranks, you can get a merciless killer outcome without getting all 4 iri emblems, whereas at the iri/red ranks you need 4 iri emblems to get the adept achievement which makes it significantly harder.
