Nemesis would be much more fun if he acted more like him
So people have just given up on Nemesis. RE fans for some reason just gave up on the RE chapters garbage contents and are just leaving it to rot. Not just RE fans but just the DBD players and I don't understand why. Nemesis would be so much more fun if he played like Nemesis. No one is really playing him because not a lot of people enjoy him. Especially when he can't control an entire half of his power. So think about it, if they redid his entire power and added his iconic and super fun running I bet you would all like it more. I mean people have so much fun against Hillbilly and stuff on both sides. Way more than Nemesis in his current state right? Add a rocket launcher. How much fun would it be to shoot a rocket launcher every now and then and just ######### the survivors! It would be incredibly fun. Again, way more than current Nemesis. I just want more RE fans to join in to help with it. It isn't that hard to join in. All we have to do is just keep bringing it up to them whereever we can. Just keep going until its fixed. I just wanna see my Nemesis finally join after 5 years of waiting. I'm sure other want to as well. Just imagine what we could've had. We can still have it if we just keep asking and asking everywhere. Idk I just want more people to help instead of just letting it die and be forgotten like it basically has already. This is RE and Nemesis. Gamings BIGGEST horror game franchise ever and one of gamings biggest bosses period. His name is in the title of the game he comes from.

I will not lie, I completely agree that he doesn't really feel like Nemesis (especially when I chase someone for 30 seconds who's RUNNING IN A STRAIGHT LINE), but I laughed so hard when I saw a Nemesis post and saw it was you.
That doesn't mean I don't agree with you, because I 100% do, but I can see why people get mad at you, this is your 2nd Nemesis Post in a week.

I don't understand why would they get mad. I'm just making a post about something I care about. If they get mad then its odd. They just don't have to read it. This post is a bit different too. I'm actually trying to get people to help or somethin'. I was sure there would be some willing to help. I don't know about on the forums but I don't know where else to ask.

I mean I'm all for a more RE, maybe RE resistance Nemesis but I doubt the devs would change him because some people want him changed and not the entire community.

Depends on how big and who that some is. It can still be a decent chunk and maybe we can get something to happen eventually. Especially if its a bunch of RE fans that maybe even Capcom can notice and talk to BHVR or just something.

I mean I can say this with confidence but a dbd influencer is not gonna be able to do anything and also I don't think Capcom can influence Nemesis's gameplay in dbd until they have to renew the license.

How about we just make a legendary skin for Oni that is Nemesis. We make the kenobo a rocket launcher, that you can beat them down with. You get your running, you got your rocket launcher, and BHVR gets a cosmetic to sell. We all win.

Might as well do the reverse and give Nemesis an Oni skin too, with his whip becoming a Katana, and the zombies being two lesser samurais.

If he acted like actual nemesis then he would just straight up ignore everyone but jill and chris unless they actually tried to take a hit lol. he also would be a speed demon so that doesn't work balance wise. and he would be able to break any wall , that also wont work.

That's not what I'm saying. I'm saying his power should have abilities he actually uses and that are iconic. Obviously it would need balancing. I don't need him speeding around every second.

People get mad because you're just saying the same (to them) things on repeat. I'm not mad, I, just like you, WANT Nemesis to BE NEMESIS. I have fun playing him as he is, sure, but I get so demoralized when Survivors, just as I stated, run in a straight line and waste my time. I have no way to catch up to them.
The tentacle, while it is part of what he does, helps them more than anything because it gives them a boost, without even injuring them the first time I use it. It can also be juked pretty easily by faking windows or pallets. Very few Killers have mobility, and giving Nemesis, a character known for his ruthlessness pursuit (who was literally called 'The Pursuer' in his original game), has no way to pursue Survivors at any more than a leisurely stroll. The Zombies, while cool, get stuck 80% of the time and I have to play babysitter to get use out of them.
In his current state he's just a better but worse Pyramid Head. He denies loops faster than PHead's Punishment can, is more unpredictable, but can't go through walls. PHead's also takes 2 hits to down, unlike the normal 3. I've played maybe 80+ Nemesis Matches now, and I can only think of 7 times (excluding the PTB) the Zombies ACTUALLY helped, and not when I just trapped a Survivor for them. Unfortunately, since very few people (pretty much just you, me, and maybe a few people that just don't comment here) care about Nemesis, the developers won't change him.

You know that Nemesis' full range of abilities is designed for RE3, right? A game with weapons and a dodge mechanic?
If Nemesis was able to run extremely fast and jump in front of players during a chase, use a ranged weapon that downs players in one hit, and cause a stronger reaction to the virus, the only person having fun would be the one playing Nemesis lmao He'd play so aggressively, no one would even try.
Like I said in that other thread, he's already adapted into DBD pretty damn close to the original.

Yeah its like they tried to make him good at chasing but at the end of the day he actually ended up being pretty poor at it. The 3 hits and not being able to catch up good enough vs good survivors just take away the good chaser part they tried to do when it happens.

Obviously that's not what I'm asking for. I'm not asking for every single ability. The abilities they chose he barely uses or just never had. And when he does use the tentacle its usually to grab someone and pull them in or just straight up murder them with it. He should be able to run and be good at destruction.

Idk if you're the same person I was talking to the other day about Nemesis' moveset, so I apologize if I was assuming too much.
I still think he's balanced pretty well. Most of his moveset would still be too oppressive if it were much closer to the original than it already is imo.

The things I am asking for have been done on many other killers. They can balance him however they want. I just want Nemesis to actually have his abilities. Right now he doesn't give you the feeling of playing Nemesis in DBD. He makes you feel like you're playing RE as a franchise in DBD if you get what I mean. Nemesis needs to be a fast moving killer with a unique twist on it still. Like how Oni and Hillbilly are similar but still have differences. Nemesis can be the same way. Be similar and more faithful but be unique in a good way. A cool idea I saw was the he runs in short bursts which would fit well with him.
