Boo to dc penalty
Lowering your rank is fine but the timer is stupid and here's why, I shouldn't have to be forced to play a match I'm not having fun in I shouldn't be forced to play with toxic players If I want to leave I should be allowed to without having to wait 5 or more min just to que up and wait 30 years for another match.
And to everyone about to say get good or whatever save it for rank or hard core.
but if there's a time I'm not having fun in a match like at all I shouldn't be forced to play it if they want a competitive thing just add a competitive match making! I don't want to try hard and I don't want to play against no life people I play casually.
So if you want a heavy competitive thing that dc penalty is more useful do it in a deffrent que!

have no dc penalty and you wont complete a game without a dc. sure its annoying to be punished because ur getting demolished, but imagine it without the penalty. nonetheless, i just got matched with haddonfield offering balanced landing as trapper. guess how that ended. i hate that damn map with every fiber of my being. all they did was jump out of the window and balance landing away everytime i got close. not to even mention the house of pain.

Imagine having fun or giving your best and then someone dc's. And that someone is not you, you were the one having fun.
Is that ok to you too?

Well the grade isn't used for matchmaking and you can't depip downward so d/cing really has no real punishment to it without the penalty.
If you queue up to play a match with other people the least you can do is to play it out. If you can't do that much then maybe this game isn't for you.

And people should not be forced to play 3vs1

People with similar mindset to you is what ruins the game. Imagine if the developers just allows disconnects, People would just disconnect whenever X and Y is not what they wanted. A lot of incomplete matches and ruining the game for everyone else that was unfortunate enough to be playing with you.
No one is forcing you play the game. Go uninstall.

If you are having so many unfun matches that the dc penalty becomes a problem you need to take the hint that this isn't the game for you and leave.
For our and your own benifit.
So boo to you sir. If you can't play with others then stick to single player games

Just let yourself die, ain't that hard, I like DC penalty, when it was not there, survivors just dipped on me for using X killer! If you don't like the penalty, use it to your advantage and still get some bloodpoints 🙄

No one is entitled to have a fun match every single time. That’s how it works and how it will always work in every online game ever made. No need to ruin games for other individuals because things don’t go your way.

how is the penalty supposed to know that you are not having fun?

I know the feeling of that and after months since i started playing this in April of this year and through practice that i have learned to try to play the game and understand how the other players are when they are matched in the game with you. Yes, we all have tough matches with Players that go hardcore on low and unskilled players. I am not advanced nor i don't think i will be advanced but i am still playing this game to the best that i can even if i'm dead to the point of losing a game i do throw a fit or two but the most you can do is that if you feel that this player is not letting you play to how you want to play then you can report that player and put a block on that dude/dudette that was being harsh on you. Thats what i do in these situations and i still do that. Also, if you play on pc disable the chat to prevent chaos. I play dbd both ways console and pc. ;)

How to get out of a game when your not having fun.
1) Get the killer attention
2) Run towards your nearest hook and point at it and hope the killer is not merciful like I am.
3)######### on hook.
4) if a team mate saves you, repeat step 1 though 3.
