Also her distant moaning and hook screams are so horrible to hear, I have to mute my speakers for the duration I chase and hook her. It doesn't hurt my ears, the effort of the voice actor reflects the quality we got, which was not all that great.

To this day, I have no idea why remake Claire in general is so different from original Claire in design. Leon got to stay the exact same, why did Claire have to trade out her... well, everything?

Leon changed quite a bit too, but thankfully the uniform was kept mostly the same. Just a bit more on the side of Kevin's uniform from Outbreak and Roy's uniform in 1.5.
I think they mostly wanted to modernize Claire, so she's dressed more akin to Revelations 2 and Heavenly Island (and Ali Larter in the movies), which isn't how she dressed in the 90s. The new design always looked more like Zoey to me, which is awkward since they're both in DBD now lol There was a mod to give her her classic outfit from the remake in DBD, but even that looks a bit more CODE:Veronica to me than OG 2 or Darkside/ORC.
