Seriously can't wait for Lampkin to get remade

I played on Lampkin and constantly looped reason windows next to windows here's a fun thing breakable walls why not breakable windows to remove infinites or how about this remove the pallets or windows entirely because they make everything unfair.

Haddonfield is the worst, but it gets better when you know the layout of the map like the back of your hand. Try just running through the house and outside so you can catch them as they jump down. Won't work every time but that's just about the only way to deal with it besides catching up to them before they jump.

I don't mean to be one of the doubters, but for some reason bhrv even though they are such a large company now takes a long time to work on things like more so than any other game I have played, they make a lot of content, but the quality of that content oftentimes is questionable. Lampkins in my opinion like decisive and Mori's will not be changed in a long long time sadly that is my opinion at that moment, I hope that maybe I'm wrong, but it might be a few years before they stop making new licenses and fixing the old maps.

I doubt it will be ever fixed, survivors need to send themselves there every match or the game is unbalanced.

Map is garbage and needs to be removed.

I don't normally agree with people who say "X map sucks, change it or get rid of it". I love RPD for example and don't want it changed at all. But - and I say this as a survivor main - Haddonfield is way too tricky for killers. The distance, multiple buildings, multiple height levels, and super long hedges and fences make navigating extremely difficult. That map is essentially a killer killer.

Honestly I don’t even think they are doing it on purpose. I just think they genuinely have no clue how to make a good map.

Literally every licensed ma0 has been garbage and only a few non licensed would be considered balanced

I'm more looking forward to visual update than rework. I don't personally see anything wrong with it as survivor/killer. Not every map has to be same as everything else. It's just fun. But what really bothers me is how they keep degrading visuals in other maps, especially Haddonfield like the grass and decals and trees. Everything looking worse every performance update thanks to console players I suppose. It looks like some straight port from PS1 game at this point.

They will either make it worse for killer or keep it the same with improved graphics if the current trend continues.

I kinda slightly disagree, the degree of which I'm not entirely certain of because I think you're right about them not knowing how to make good maps.

I think they are doing it on purpose, very deliberately, with that purpose being to fill maps with insane resources and flood the game with killers that brute force through (Bubba, Demo, etc) or outright ignore them (Nurse, Spirit, Slinger, etc). Which makes a certain kind of sense from the "this is a casual game" viewpoint, a sin not catering to the desires of the best players... But also, that's just not fun for mediocre or even new ones either.

Yeah I can see that. It also leads to lower tier killers falling behind even more since they have no way to deal with the increased pallet numbers

Badham and Cowshed are still super bad so I wouldn't have high hopes. The only maps that were slightly better after rework balance-wise were Ormond (less survivor sided) and The Game (less killer sided), and even then they balanced the Game the wrong way (adding tons of pallets instead of actual loops to promote gameplay).

I hope that after they finish The Realm Beyond they do another update like the one they did on the beginning of 2020 where they removed a lot of god windows and shrunk some maps.

The game is one of the most vial examples of how clueless the devs are. It went from "slightly killer sided" against ultra noobs to one of the most safe maps in the game...

I find The Game to be a rather "balanced" map, although on the wrong way. Yeah, survivors have lots of pallets, but the map has barely any loops so they will have to burn through the resources pretty fast and it's a super easy map for gen control because you usually have 3 or 4 of them 10 seconds apart from each other. Although I don't really like it I would take The Game as killer over Badham, Mother's Dwelling, Haddonfield and Coldwind any day.

I look forward to them reworking it but I hope they keep it's charm. I like that the loops are unusual and not just standard LT walls etc. Balance the houses but keep them unique.

Probably just gonna add breakable walls and 30 pallets and call it a day.

I believe 24 pallets can spawn on The Game at minimum. Nearly all of these pallets are unmindgameable and incredibly safe, and usually connected to one another - even if a survivor literally predropped every pallet, it would still take minutes upon minutes to get rid of all of them, which is time the killer simply doesn't have. If the survivor uses these pallets efficiently then there is no feasible way they will be caught unless they make a severe mistake or the killer has an ability that bypasses pallets. Plus, the gens are split between the two floors, and as such are harder to defend then other maps. Not the hardest to defend, that'd go to RPD, but trickier than most other maps.

I understand where you're coming from, but Hawkins is the map which is balanced in a bad way. Yes, there's a truckload of pallets and some gens are tricky to patrol, but in exchange most of the pallets are weak and the more unique gens (rift room, isolation room) don't have very many pallets near them. The Game is not balanced because it has more pallets than Hawkins, every pallet is strong and must be kicked to progress, and the entire map is linked into itself like old Ormond. I'm not exaggerating when I say that a team that is actually playing smart is nigh-unbeatable on The Game. All the survivors have to do is eliminate the 3 gen in the centre of the map and it's practically GG.

and even when they do release stuff they add about 50 different bugs in completely unrelated areas that then take a extra 3 months to fix, sometimes they straight up NEVER get fixed (IW on survivors that don't have the perk and pretty much every Nurse bug since her rework come to mind)
