No matchmaking queue DBD 5.2.2
Just got a patch for DBD now anytime I queue I get the title's error. On Series X.

I think this might be a Series X only issue atm. Not sure why they would deviate from the normal release time for a patch specific to one platform

I had finished a game and when I went to queue up again it told me I needed a patch to access the content. Downloaded the patch and now get that error. Im live on twitch and my friend whos on PC didnt get a patch.

Same. My friend on an Xbox One didn't get the patch either. Series X users are basically version locked out of DbD until other platforms get the 5.2.2 patch. What's worrying is that those patches usually release on Tuesdays at 11 AM est...

Doesnt BHVR have some kind of automated system to roll these things out across all platfroms at the same time? How does this happen?

Seems if you turn cross play off you can search for a match with out having the warning come up

Believe it or not, not all people have unlimited time during the week to play games. For this to go out on a Friday night (in USA) is a super bummer for busy gamers like me.

Apparently, my version of DBD is 5.2.2 which is not even released which I cannot join any queues.

I saw somewhere somebody said turning off crossplay worked, hopefully that helps? Just curious, does it show you any patch notes for 5.2.2?

It does not show any patch notes. Just turned off cross-play to see if that works. Thanks for the advice.

When I go to news it doesnt show anything and I still cant connect to a game as killer or survivor.

if they remove the 5.2.2 update we may be able to uninstall and reinstall to go back to 5.2.1....
I haven't tried disabling cross play though... My friends are across all plats

Already tried uninstalling and reinstalling and it doesn't work, unfortunately, haven't tried with crossplay off yet but even if it does work it's bizarre that BHVR would ######### up this bad.

I can't successfully matchmake for some reason on Xbox Series X. Matchmaking fails whenever I try to play as a survivor with an error message that says "Matchmaking failed because there is no matchmaking queue for your current client version. Current Client Version: 5.2.2".
I have deleted and reinstalled the game with no change in the matchmaking behavior.

Same here. Xbox Series X, game just updated to 5.2.2 and cannot get into a game.
Edit: adding that I'm also getting error "Connection with host could not be established" when continuing to try to ready up.

Crossplay off is your only option until the update is pushed to other platforms.

Just got home from work myself and my game is also stuck on "NO MATCHMAKING FOR 5.2.2" while trying to connect as killer and then just flatout "COULD NOT CONNECT WITH SERVER" while doing survivor.
Really hope this doesn't last long barely have time to get through the rift as it is now I can't even play.
edit: also on Xbox Series X, Put in a support ticket so hopefully the issue is solved soon.

Looks like you are on a version which is not released yet, current Live Build is 5.2.1, 5.2.2 is the second Bugfix-Patch, which will probably be released soon.
Dont know how to fix it tho, I dont even understand how you managed to get on this version in the first place. Maybe reinstall completely? No guarantee that this will be a fix.

When I try to get into a match it says it can’t find matchmaking in my server idk what is going on but it’s a letdown

I don't doubt it, there are enough reasons to not play the game right now and they are giving Xbox players a hard reason not to.

This must be some mistake on the xbox service side. Since the patches have to be approved before releasing them.
