Locked out for a day?!? WaaaaTF?
This is the second time in three days my internet glitched and I have been locked out for 24 hours. #########?!?!

Stop playing when your internet is not working well?
You obviously have had quite a few disconnects - whether on purpose or due to internet issues. Most people stop trying to play after the 2nd or 3rd internet issue which would not have you ANYWHERE near a 24 hour ban.

Yeah to get enough DC's to get a full day ban, you have 100% dc'd more than two times in three days. You're straight lying.
Thats at least 5 DC's in a day.

They changed the ban timer so that it doesn't punish connection issues nearly as much, so either you're completely oblivious to just how much you've been dropping connection, or...

I'm not sure what platform you're playing on, but is it at all feasible for you to connect your system directly to your modem via ethernet cable?
My PS4 was dropping connection like a mad-lad on this game, but my console is almost directly beside my modem so I just connected them with a 3 foot cable, and I've had no issues since.

Are you sure you only got disconnected 2 times and the first penalty is a 24 hour ban? That sounds highly suspicious.. you didn’t get a penalty from the first disconnect?
it should start at 5 min, after a few times in a short time it goes up to 15 min. To get a 24 hour ban you have to dc pretty often. At that point, if it is your connection, make sure it’s stable before playing.

I feel for people who get a ban after a legit internet glitch. Utterly unfair. You can have a great internet service and still get the occasional blip.

Sure. That’s really bad. But to be fair, that’s only a 5 min ban. And if it actually stacks up then it’s not an occasional blip anymore.

The 15 minutes is after a second disconnect. Was watching someone who quit 2 hacker lobbies and that was the penalty.

I am pretty sure I had 2 almost consecutive dc‘s due to that ‚no connection to host‘ error/bug a few days ago and the second time was also 5 min

If your internet connection is so bad, why do you queue up before looking into that issue? I think you DC way more often (maybe on purpose) than you claim.
My internet was once bad as well and I looked into why before I even started up the game again.

Honestly with my experience with DCs due to internet loss, it seems to scale as no penalty, 2x 5 minute penalties, 2x 15 minute penalties, and then I think it's a 45 minute one ater, but I don't know since I've never gotten this far.

If you disconnect so many times to the point of getting a 24hr ban, the internet is unreliable and it's better for other people that they don't play until it gets resolved.

Good. Other players should not be punished by having DCs in their matches because your internet doesn't work.

The ban is justified. Their are 4 other players every match who are negatively impacted when you disconnect. Stop queuing for matches until you get your internet connection issues resolved.

Disconnection penalities are a blessing, until the game hits you with a "You need a network connection to access this content", even though you have a full HD Youtube open and running on a second monitor, proving very much that its not the user fault, but just Behaviour ######### dedicated servers.
