Just get rid of luck and fog offerings

It's a super easy way to reduce the grind a little bit. Luck is and has been near useless for years and even taking a purple fog offering does next to nothing, adding little puffs of fog here and there.

Seriously I see someone burn one of these offerings once every 50+ matches. Luck's only use is meme builds.

I would say leave Fog offerings but actually, make them worthwhile. I've seen some old screens from the start of the game and it looks like Fog was much darker and dense, I would love to bring that back. Assuming what I saw was a real thing.

    better idea (IMO):

Rework Fog (and fog offerings) as part of the Realm Beyond Update. It used to be such a cool atmospheric feature. Give it back.

And rework the luck mechanic to give it actual purpose.

It doesnt matter how dense fog is when u just adjust your monitor brightness. It's still useless slot.

Would brightness overcome actual particle density though? Doesn't matter how bright a monitor is you won't see through an 80% opacity wall. Might have that % backwards but you get it.

They mentioned they would like to rework luck like 3-4 years ago. It's never going to happen and would probably just end up a buggy mess. I think there's enough RNG in this game already anyway.

Also, given how last gen systems handle this game, I sincerely doubt fog will ever be what it used to be.

The new fog is a joke. Bring back the old one I used to love. I don't mind map offerings, especially if its for a newer map, one that doesn't come up much or one that's be recently reworked. Im saving my swamp and Haddonfields ones now :)

Luck offerings can be kinda busted when combined with related perks, but any killer who sees 4 luck offerings in play is likely going to hook camp you, if not immediately certainly after the first kobe. I would just say make them secret alongside wards and BP offerings (excluding those that affect both sides). The only offerings the killer should know about are ones they can offer up themselves such as map and mist offerings.

I agree with others. Let's not get rid of these, but instead make them worthwhile. Bring back old fog, and make luck also affect chest searches (i.e. increased chance at rarer items). Real simple changes honestly.

Hmmm .. Ok, lets say fog is so dence u can't see anything 10m away. How killers should find survivors?

    👀

Not to mention if the survivor is injured, or a myriad of killer tracking perks...

Before you injure someone u need to find him. And if survivors walk and it's completely ok cause they are afraid and don't see where i am u suggest me wait till they start doing gens? Thx no.

The way the game used to look would make fog awesome. But now it's pointless, even with all 4 survivors running fog offerings. It doesn't even spawn properly on maps like Coldwind either. I wish they'd just say F visibility and make the game moody again where fog actually plays a role.

Luck needs to have more of a use. I'm skipping Ace's perk in the shrine even though I don't have it because it's a crappy perk I'll never use, just like the offerings.

It's weird how many people unrealistically expect Bhvr to rework luck and fog

Y'all will take away my slippery meat builds from my cold dead hands! I would actually rather see luck actually be used other than kobe'ing again. I'm fine with it being removed from trapper traps, but I'd like to see something new added to the game (highly doubt that would happen though).

I definitely want mist offers to be removed, or at least bring mist back to a form that actually matters. I miss the old maps..

I don't think it's busted. I've never ever had a killer facecamp when I've done a 4 man and slippery meat/luck build with 4 salty lips - in the chat they usually just laugh about it, and we all usually die anyways because we all are running a meme build... And that goes for me when I'm a killer, it's nice to have survivors that just dick around, after a bunch of bad games it's nice to have a fun(ny) match that doesn't have the meta on every survivor. Have you actually camped/been camped for that?

I agree, they create pointless bloodweb bloat and take up space actually useful stuff could spawn like items, addons, and BP offerings. Killers dont have luck offerings alone and look at killer bloodwebs, higher quality bloodweb. Now luck alone doesn't account for this, survivors have a lot more items/addons to roll and as a result a lot more bad bloat in all rarities, but I think decreasing the amount of useless/bad things that appear would be nice. It's just RNG to waste your BP on stuff you'll never use.

Nearly every time we try it the killer just doesnt leave the hook, I assume they see the 4 luck offerings and know what's coming next. The time's we haven't been face camped, gens have absolutely flown by, because it completely negates one of the main forms of pressure the killer has for the first half of the match: Hooking a survivor and forcing another to come and rescue them.
