I have semi-recently came to playing killer, but don't know who to play. I don't care about winning / metas, just having fun, who do you find has the most fun kit to play around with?

Can’t go wrong with Myers and Monitor & Abuse.

You’re not a very strong Killer, but unless they have Spine Chill you’ll be putting the fear of God into them.

Do Corrupt, Deadlock, M&A and Bamboozle and you’re a silent monster that vaults windows like an Olympian.

Personal opinion, but my hands-down favorite is Nemesis. You get a little bit of everything with him!

    • M1 killer experience much of the time - with very satisfying face-crunching attacks.
    • Ranged attack - to some extent. But not so much that you rely on it for everything (lookin at you huntress and slinger!)
    • Zombies! They make a difference often enough, keep the chases fresh, give you info, and can shut down otherwise very strong loops. I find this final part very useful in keeping my own engagement up when I get a lobby of super-loopers - what would otherwise have been a very dull game for me.
    • And finally, playing Nemmy doesn’t earn you loads of salt from survivors, since typically everyone has a good time in a Nemesis match (especially if you don’t camp or tunnel). Makes Spirit and Freddy a bit jealous…

"Most fun" can be very subjective. I will, personally, like killers with extreme highs and lows - it's why I main Pig.

I deliberately avoid toxic playstyles, I'm playing a game not trying to ruin other people's time, so I don't always get the full 4k.. but when a head pops, I can't help but smile. It makes the more frustrating games worth it.

I also play a lot of Doctor, but that feels like cheating - I can pretty easily fill up my emblem points just toying with survivors, so I'll often play pretty casually. It lets me just play chill music and listen to the screams :P

    Thank you for the answers!

  • It's all about what you prefer. Check the killer tab and hover over the portraits to see the description, and see which one you like.

I personally have the most fun playing Trickster which is why I decided to one-trick him upon his release back in March.

But the general public opinion of him is fairly negative. He's very hard to get used to and he's one of the weaker killers right now. But even when I first started learning him I just had a blast with him. A mix between his kit and his charismatic aesthetic and personality is perfect for me.

It's really all about testing various Killers and perks, and finding what works for you. There are a lot of "meta" builds and Killers, a thousand tier lists of who's the "best" and the "worst", but none of that really matters. At the end of the day, it's not really a win unless you're having fun.

I, personally, enjoy playing as Doc, Legion, Myers, and Demo.

The Doctor's "Order" addons are super fun - there's nothing more satisfying than seeing a Survivor trying to get your attention in what they think is a safe loop, only to have their pallet disappear as they approach. He's also great with the perk Surveillance, telling you just where to use his Static Blast, as well as Iron Maiden for those who think they can avoid your power.

I find Legion fun as it kinda lets you take on the role of what is basically a Survivor with a knife - you fast vault windows and pallets, you run fast, and you stab people. Since Feral Frenzy attacks don't count as basic attacks, it also works really well with perks such as Dark Devotion and Franklin's Demise. Nurse's Calling is also a safe bet, as they will be healing quite a lot. And there's something very fun about slaughtering a group of adult men as a pink-haired teenage girl with a knife.

Good ol' Myers has a lot of cool add-ons, allowing you to play him in just about any way you want. You can go for an unstoppable beast of a man with Spirit Fury + Enduring and M&A + Infectious Fright, or you can grab an indoor map offering and scare the crap out of people with Scratched Mirror. Either way, the combination of stealth and power is always quite fun.

Finally, there's the Demogorgon. The teleportation thing is cool, but the Shred attack is even better, allowing you to work around perks like STBFL and Dark Devotion. I'm a big fan of STBFL, Mad Grit, and Rancor - hit fast, spam attack bodyblockers, and get yourself a yummy snack at the end of the game. Of course, the most important part is that the Demogorgon is so goddamn CUTE. I don't understand how people find it scary. It's just a big hairless puppy.

Well, that's all for my novel comment - best of luck to you in your future killing sprees! 💚

TL;DR: test things, have fun, and pet eldritch horrors

Hey, i'm a console player ^^ i'd have to say that for me personally one of the most funnest killers to play us Huntress, whether i win or lose i cant go wrong with a good few hatchet hits that just make you get every type of emotion at once

Huntress imo is one of the best to have fun with, she is balanced and rewarding. Another good pick would be Blight and the Demogorgon.

For me most fun always was Huntress. You need to learn to play her though.

And recently I had a lot of fun with Nemesis using only his tentacle strike. Once you learn how to hit tentacle effectively you become unstoppable pallet breaking machine that devastating at short wall loops and pretty good at high wall loops as well. Bonus fun points when survivors accidently get hits by zombie. You can't seriousluy rely on zombies but when they help it's so much fun.

I'm fond of the Doctor because I enjoy throwing around electricity, but I actually have the most fun playing as Freddy with Infectious Fright.

I use it as part of a stupid build of Terror Radius parks on Freddy whose whole thing is making survivors Oblivious.

I always find it funny when I.F. actually works in these circumstances. My favorite moment was a Meg that got Salty about my using it along with Barbecue and Chili, which might be a legit point except, again, Freddy's whole thing is negating his own heartbeat.
