Killer DC = DC penalty for survivors
Just had a match with a Pig in Midwhich. Was on a gen with my sister (we were SWF) and could see the 2 other randoms with bond also on a gen. Before either could pop the gen, Pig DCed, games end. It even shows us Killer DCed on the scoreboard afterwards, yet both myself and sister ended up with a DC penalty. I've never had this happen before, generally if the Killer DCs, no penalty hits the survivor. It even gave out BPs for the little we did in the match
We waited out our penalty and get a Doctor in Swamp, same thing. Get on a gen, Killer DCs, bps are earned and shows the little DC icon by the Killer.... and again get a penalty.
Something up? I would wonder if maybe one of us crashed but the fact we are BOTH getting penalties with the same image of Killer DCing and survivors still getting BPs isn't anything I've seen before that coincidence with us getting a penalty.
Also our lock out times were different the second time around. First time we both had 5 minutes, 2nd time I had like minutes and she had 13

I have not got timed out, but there were a couple of times I think I was massively depipped like I DC’ed, but it was actually the killer. I was on the verge of going up one grade both times then next thing I know 1 game later, I’m down to one pip out of five in the same grade. What the hell?? Wish I was paying closer attention to what my pips were when those killers DC’ed (for confirmation). Next time I will.

I didn't have it 2 times in a row yet. Not even 2 times the same day. I wish u luck that it won't happen again today.

I had both. I didn't pay much attention neighter cause I really don't care for pips or points or whatever. Would still be nice to know, so if you encounter it again maybe give an update.

Yeah happened a 3rd time, this time as a solo without my sister. I took images and submitted a ticket. The Entity really is coming at me lol

Sorry to hear that. Unfortunately I guess your best choise is to quit dbd for today and switch to something else. It's like murphys law is part of this game.

Update:: so submitted a ticket and was told
"Nothing we can do. Just keep trying and suffering the penalties until it fixes itself"

There is a common visual bug, when you DC, but it says the killer DCed.
Are you and your sister playing from the same internet connection? If so it could legitimately be you DCing.
