Which killers primarily use the Oppression perk?
And which do you think is better, Oppression perk or Eruption perk?

I guess it depends on the killer. Someone with a lot of mobility would likely benefit more from Eruption. But, like, I wouldn't recommend either. If you want fruity gen regression, Surge is more ideal.

I'll use oppression if i have it. Kinda interchangeable to me if i dont have other gen perks.
i wouldnt use eruption, too much if you ask me.
but i just use the perks on whoever im playing as so i dont have any specific builds.
but basically, i'd say the perks don't have a primary user, such as high mobility or low mobility. Just depends on if someone likes the perk or not.

I played with both perks and Eruption is far better.
The thing is, Oppression has such a long cooldown and the effect itself is just very big meh.

How to use the Eruption? use with other perks?

Oppression is much more likely to help you with gen defense and info than Eruption. You’re immediately affecting up to four generators with one damage action (and possible intel which are being worked on, if they fail the difficult skill check), vs. each individual gen needing to be kicked with Eruption. And that’s if you get a down after kicking each one, and before the gen is completed.
Eruption is the worst gen defense perk yet, in my opinion. But both are outclassed by Ruin, Pop, and Tinkerer.

Basically, it may only work well with Pop since you’re already kicking the gen anyways (with a hefty immediate regression).

Prob the best use would be with Pop since you will want to kick gens anyway with Pop and then Eruption would be like a nice cherry on a cake.

Oppression is only for killers who like using mediocre perks with insanely long cooldowns

Oppression is something I consider on killers who have generally bad pressure like Trickster or Deathslinger. I use it because I don't have the time to stop and kick multiple gens, and because the better option when I find a progressed gen is usually starting to attack from range, and then I'd have to drop chase to go back and kick the gen. It lets me get multiple generators regressing without going around to all of them and spending a lot of time kicking each one.
Eruption is better for killers who have significant pressure and can afford to kick gens, or have more melee-range powers so diverting to the gen is less distance. Something like Wraith with faster kicking while cloaked can drive-by gens pretty fast and still maintain a chase, then he gets a significant payoff when he downs someone.
Outside of them, I'd usually rely more on Surge as it saves time altogether and gives a similar amount of regression to Eruption, or Pop which focuses all the regression on one gen but only requires one kick's worth of time.

Eruption is great on killers with low map pressure and killers who rely on their special attack a lot. Also it is a very strong perk if you're camping a 3 gen.
Great on Twins Because charlotte can always stay in your 3gen and victor can down survivors and trigger eruption
Eruption is much better

hillbilly and oni are use what?

I personally find oppression quite good for freddy with his regression adons. Unfortunately the cooldown is way to big to actually get good value. Eruption is much better.

To be honest I use Oppression on just about all my killers. I'm not a fan of Hexes, and not a huge fan of perks that only function if you're winning aka... all the slowdown perks that require downs or hooks which is most of them. So... from my particular point of view, Oppression is the best slowdown perk in the game since its much more functional than Overcharge which is too predictable to usually get value.
Now, if we're going to ignore that... how does it stand out from Ruin or Pop or Surge or Eruption? Beyond not falling down on the job if you aren't getting downs... it has a few advantages over a lot of the above. Firstly, it can function as both a slowdown perk and a info perk. If a Survivor fails the hard skill check, well congrats, you know where somebody is. Secondly, it can function in the space where Pop can easily let you down. You know the one, you have Pop, you know you need to pop that gen, but the survivors finish it before you make it there. Oppression allows you to get pressure on that gen without needing to get all the way there. You do need another closer Gen that you can kick to use Oppression this way, but it is super satisfying when kicking a gen saves a gen across the map0.
What about Eruption? Well I find that Eruption works very nicely as the slowdown to run if you're going to be playing defensive and don't want to slug a ton. If you manage to catch survivors on the gen with Eruption, it is very powerful. 16 seconds of them being useless is very strong and can easily allow you to collect your hook states because you just rendered 1-2 Survivors not a threat. Eruption can also be used as an info perk. Even if you don't catch someone with it... you know that that gen that just Erupted hasn't got a Survivor. That means you can go look elsewhere.
As for which is better, honestly it depends on your playstyle. If you're playing Trapper, Hag, or other Killer who wants to hunker down and play defensively, Eruption is far better. Oppression on the other hand is much better if you're wanting to spread out your defense and pressure throughout the map.

Pop or Eruption, they're mobile enough to get to any gen they want to get progress off, they don't down with M1 most of the time so Surge is out, and they aren't under enough time pressure to be scared of kicking a gen or two.

Slow killers like trickster

I generally replace BBQ with oppression from time to time if i'm using pop as well.
Long cooldown is a killer though

Freddy with his dress add-ons lol

Kicking gens genrally suck's but if you want to force it I'd say blight, deathslinger maybe have pop/dragons grip to give you more gen kicking value. Kicking gens kind of useless sense all a survivor has to do is tap the gen. Base regression speed is trash so its hard to get value out of it.

No one should use this perk. In arguably almost every situation another perk would serve you better. On paper it is ok but let's consider a few things
- RNG aspect - 3 gens at random are effected, this means early/mid you could regress a critical gen that is almost done with no survivors on it or it will fire off on a gen at 3% progress.
- Base regression speed - This means for every 1 second a survivor(solo) worked on the gen, it would need to be left alone for 4 seconds in order to remove the 1 second of progress the survivor made. Additionally gen tapping exists to completely delete the effect even if you are nearby and the gen is effected
- Massive cooldown - With the above facts you would think this perk would either not have a cooldown or be extremely generous with it, instead it is the exact opposite. 80 seconds for a generally 'meh' effect
- Communication kills any advantage of this perk - The ideal scenario would be you start regression on another gen that has decent progress and nobody comes along to tap it or resume progress but anyone can say in a swf "hey man, killer made the gen I was on start regressing, it's near killer shack and he is chasing me now if someone can go tap it/finish it"
If you really want to use off-meta regression perks try surge and then maybe eruption. All of the off-meta regression perks aren't great/really bad compared to the value of ruin/pop though.
