do servers even work properly? (keep getting dc'd from game, internet is fine)
today i was just chilling trying to learn deathslinger and suddenly after i hook someone i get disconnected, i verified the integrity of the game files and everything was fine, also i was on discord and i did not get disconnected from there, meanwhile i have to deal with a 30 minute dc penalty (because it has already happened severeal times today), any way to fix such annoyance?

It did go down earlier. Affected more than just Dead By Daylight. I couldn't get into any of my Steam Games. Steam has had quite a few issues this week.

Are you getting any error code to go along with those disconnects? They are actually quite useful to narrow down the problem.

nope, it just says that i need an internet connection to play the game, if that counts as an error code, i guess

If Steam servers go down (even if briefly) you get d/c'd from DBD.

i can confirm steam did not go down

I was briefly disconnected from steam a couple hours ago and got kicked out the game due to "no internet connection". I at least was trying to queue up instead of getting thrown out of a game.

If you're still having issues, try validating the game files. Might be something there.
