Avoiding high rank matches?

Am i the only person who tries to avoid high rank matches as much as possible, because i simply don't want to deal with the Toxic people at those ranks?
personally i think its not worth getting into those ranks, because you know for a fact that 90% of the games your going in; you'll be facing off with the most Toxic people within this community of a game.

I don't know, its like once you see yourself in those red ranks, theirs nothing good that comes out of it and you know your going to have one hell of a stressful match. I guess to simply put it, theirs nothing worth going for at those ranks, besides a crap ton of Toxic behavior and rage inducing play styles.
They should honestly bring in casual rather then rank so it will be mixed, rather then knowing every match your going in will be Toxic play...

That's exactly the reason why I NOT avoid these ranks. I love to face toxic people. That's when my real potential and tryharding comes out.
Also, there is nothing more funny and tasty than DCs if u outplay a toxic teabagger and the salt afterwards in the game chat. But that's personal preference, some people like me enjoy salt, some others can't deal with that at all

I try to avoid NOT staying at rank 1. I know it's stupid and doesn't mean anything but i like to get back to 1 every month and stay there.
Plus the fact that i like to deal with rank 1 survivors/killers.

How the hell are y'all's experiences so drastically different than mine? I avoid higher ranks because I'm a bloodpoint farmer, but I definitely see more toxicity at lower levels than higher levels. People at high ranks are generally intelligent enough to know obvious stuff like survivors will flashlight stun you if they can and killers will camp any survivor they catch if all the gens are done. Lower ranks tend to be self entitled cry babies who will whine non stop when the completely obvious happens.

No. Plus there is no point to stay in high ranks. It's not like you gain anything from it

    Play:

    Self-Care
    Urban Evasion,
    We're Gonna Live Forever
    Saboteur

Never do any generators. Keep sabotaging hooks to 99% and gain near 500 points for each one sabotaged. It grants points really fast without giving you emblems.
Now, whenever someone is hooked, go for the save for the We're gonna live forever stacks.
In most of your games you'll lose, because you have 1 less person doing gens, but you can still go for a hatch escape if your teammates were good enough.

With this playstyle you'll still be able to farm bloodpoints without pipping too often. You might even Net Depip if you do it well enough.

(Hatch escapes give 2000+ in the objective category)
(You can get 5000 for your survivral category)
    (You'll max altruism easily)
(You'll max Boldness easily as breaking hooks counts towards boldness (500 for each hook + skillchecks)

    Yw (:

I'm staying at 9 and 10 until after the event.
Then I'll head back to 1. It's so boring at higher ranks.

Toxic? Sweaty and tryhard I guess you could say, but toxic?

The low ranks are full of toxic people too. Hell I'd expect more of them at low rank becauss most stay low rank so they can bully new players, and they often disconmect when they're about to be hooked.

High rank gets boring though. Such little variation. It's all P3 claudettes with the meta perks at that point going for the biggest and dullest loops in the game.

I don't know about that? from my perspective on killer side in the high ranks, i've dealt with so many toxic mains that it boggles my mind on how many their are in this community.

90% of the survivors i come across or go up against always run the same 4 perks, DS, SB, SC and DH
Then you have the insta healers, the flashlight spammers, the body blockers, the tbaggers, the loopers, the gear boxers, the camouflagers *cluadette mains* gen rushers, etc, etc.
All while mocking you as they are always 2 or 3 steps ahead of you everytime.
And now with this event up; firecrackers are everywhere now; which are hard to avoid because you dont get any notification if its about to be used; at least with flashlights you can see it, but firecrackers just appear out of nowhere.

Honestly rank shouldnt even exist in this game; this game is not a competition..

Rank 10 is the new rank 1 challenge for killers since there are so many experienced survivors hanging out there.

While high rank does get stale I always try to get there and stay there. I dont want to ruin the fun of less skilled players. I dont like to try hard but whatever rank I'm at that's where the game thinks I should be at. Currently rank 8 though due to crashes making me derank but I should be back into red ranks sooner or later
