I guess I'm one of the few that actually enjoyed it. It wasn't A+ material and could have been better, but I wouldn't call it a mess. Definitely not as much of a mess Dbd is.

They confirm he is what he is accused of...in the originals there was always a doubt. One theory is he was an innocent man burned for a crime and he was taking revenge making him an vengeful spirit of sorts.

I know it is a 2010 movie but I will still keep it spoiler free🤣. New nightmare (noes part 7) was a different take done in the real world which was interesting.
