PC should be seperated from Consoles in CROSSPLAY
This is the best solution against hackers:
Consoles vs Consoles (XBOX, PS, NINTENDO SWITCH)
PC vs PC
Let these hackers fight against hackers.
Let console have their fun which they paid their online services for and its their privilege to enjoy the game without hackers. End of story.

No way they'll split the playerbase. The whole point of Crossplay was to unite the community, hackers or no.

This doesn't solve the issue about hackers being present in the game. Besides you already have the option to opt out of crossplay if you really don't want to face against pc players.

Devise new ways to detect and/or ban them & block their cheats?

Great idea!
Screw PC players who will now have to deal with significantly longer queue times because of the massively decreased playerbase, and also screw Console players who can now no longer play with their PC friends because that aspect of crossplay has been disabled.

I don't understand the stupidity that's going on.
Console players should play vs other console players. PC should play w PC. Hackers are irrelevant.
The way the game is played is different for the 2.
A console nurse is drastically different from a PC nurse.
Nobody lost sleep over it before the cross play was enabled on the PC side. So yea, dump the hackers into one side.

Game itself is the same. But the way the game is played between PC and consoles are different.
Mouse keyboard is simply superior than controller.
I play on both PC and consoles.

It is for dbd. For noobs it doesn't matter. But for high ranks, it matters a lot.

Idk what else to tell u. A PC nurse is quite lethal vs console Survivors vs a console nurse going up against PC Survivors. There are certain movements console players cannot do.
Ur talking out of ignorance and theories instead of experience. Why don't u go play dbd on switch.
U really got to put ur bias aside and buy every single console and play on all platforms. PC is superior.

Here, in the Settings, you could turn the option "CROSS-PLAY" off, so that you will be matched only with the players on your platform.
The option below "DISABLE CROSSPLAY FOR EVERYONE ON THIS PLANET" will turn off cross-play globally for every player.
It is available now on PTB.
