Zombies are pretty much useless and I want my money back for your poor DLC quality design
Just now, I just tried out Nemesis that I bought with my money for the sake of entertainment but I am led with disappointment. The zombies are mostly stuck because BHVR has no base knowledge on programming and lack the principles and fundamentals of designing video games. Nemesis' 'zombies' get stuck because the collision between the object makes them move constantly in a perpetual loop causing the zombie to move in the same place forever until you decide to come over there and beat its rotten brain outta its head which, of course, takes your valuable time from doing other important objectives. This game is fundamentally flawed as I first thought that Friday the 13th: The Game was as buggy as this game but DbD won the Nobel Prize but I'd give them a pat on their back for not having rock glitches. Oh, whoops, nevermind, there was a way to stand on rocks before in DbD on Mount Ormond Resort.
I am a unsatisfied customer and yet, BHVR refuse to refund my money based on their flawed logic and their lack of understanding on Consumer Rights.
I advise you not to purchase Nemesis until they understand how to make a simple code to make their cough AI cough NOT getting stuck between objects.
Don't make the same mistake as I did.

'Consumer beware' The chapter has been out for over 3 months. There are hours of gameplay footage online. Hours of players talking about the chapter and it's issues.
You chose to buy the chapter without proper research. You not liking it isn't bhvrs fault. Nothing was hidden.

It seems like you're protecting their business practices and thus you approve of them releasing products which are faulty to begin with. I sincerely hope you're just here not to protect the name of their company because you're loyal to their cause.

Yeah but why are you saying this now? Pretty much everyone already knows everything about Nemesis, his power, and his zombies.

If bought on steam you can refund the dlc if you played less then 2 hours after purchasing it.
Other then that you're out of luck. Next time do research before you buy something and maybe read the terms you signed.

I am not a bhvr enthusiast or apologist. I havent purchased the last 2 chapters because of how bug ridden they make the game. I think they need to decrease the number of chapters they release in a year.
The point is they dont hide anything. All you have to do is wait 1 day and you can find all the info you need to make a decision.
Zombies are only good on small indoor maps and even then the value is rng. Hasn't changed since release ir maybe the first patch after.

More like that poster is saying that buyer's remorse is your fault if you have the means to do the necessary research to avoid it.

The zombies have their moment and who doesn't like using fists as weapon?

I've had the RE Chapter since it came out, mainly for the survivors but I was actually playing Nemesis last night for the first time, I had seen game play footage of how he plays from streamers that I follow and knew that the zombies can get stuck and such but I will honestly admit, more often than not they came in clutch for me in a quite a few games.
I gotta say, just the fact you are straight up punching a survivor does feel good.

I'm still for the idea that you should get the chance to try out a new killer for a few rounds before making the decision to buy it.
Consoles don't get a PTB, so we can't try out the new killer for ourselves on those platforms.

On one hand, I agree. On the other, he is technically bugged and as far as I know, they haven't addressed that they are aware of the issue or have any intention of fixing it. It is highly suspect and honestly, in the future, laws will catch up with this kind of unethical behavior whether people like it or not.
Luckily for them, nobody really cares about consumer protections in Murica.

In which way is Nemesis bugged right now?
1 -
The Zombies get caught on collision and just kind of stand there until you DeShawn them. I am keeping that autocorrect.
2 -
Hmm,i would say that's less of a bug but more of a poor AI problem.
This definetely needs to get fixed, but at least his main power works and isn't bugged or inconsistent like Nurses or Blight power.

Oh, yeah, definitely. I do not think it is a huge deal, it is just the principle of the matter. Nemesis is one of my most played and honestly cleaning them up feels like part of the natural gameplay loop now.

You signed away your right for a refund the moment you agreed to the EULA and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it. The joys of the law.

Regular Nemesis player here, them getting stuck is rare and sad when it happens. But you can fix it by whipping or punching them,

No, whip them instead. Not only is it more kinky, but it helps you tier up faster and they buffed tier 3 at loops. Very underrated.

Exactly, my mistake. Always whip the [BAD WORD] out of them.

Add-ons matter. Hint: you really don't need the add-ons that increase mutation rate. Use the yellow and purple add-ons that moderately increase their speed. I also use Mindbreaker on Nemesis. Zombies are fast like this and Mindbreaker keeps Sprint Burst in check most of the time.
And stop expecting to be a master immediately. You just bought it, which means you need time to figure out a style with Nemesis.

Then try to build a case against them. You won't get far.
4 -
Then go for it. Tell me how it goes.
I can only speak for the UK legal system but they'll take one glance at the EULA and dismiss your case.
Consumers are required to read the fine print. Attempting to create a case without doing so will be one very expensive waste of time.

Every game has bugs, therefore using that law you could technically sue every game company
In reality however, Nemesis's zombies are not exactly bugged and this is more of BHVR not knowing how to make proper AI, as the zombies use Patrol Routes to find survivors, they don't really have any sort of way to chase the survivors and detect walls at the same time
So this chapter is refined and completed, bhvr just doesn't have a clue how AI works

Breaking news:
Canadian videogame-developing company Behaviour Interactive sued by random Australian who wasted 13 bucks for 3 characters without prior research of product quality

Yep its true, zombies are trash and its sad.

1. You'd have known all of this before you purchased Nemesis. You can play against him without buying him.
2. You don't rely on zombies anyway. At most you use their auras to track survivors.

If your having issues with zombie getting stuck just whip them and increase your powers and reset them. I have personally done that, and I rarely rely on the zombies for anything but a moving radar dish to know if a survivor is near them.
Also as others have pointed out the chapter has been out for a while and there are numerous YouTubers out there that shows the buggy zombos. You'll be able to get water from a rock in the desert than get your money back.

Just blame the potatoes that said they was OP in the ptb, like seriously they was good in that then when live came they became awful.

'Buyer beware' is a phrase that has been around since the beginning of commerce. You can have all the rules and all the laws in the universe and guess what? You will never be 100% protected.
I've already said i think they need to slow down there release schedule. So i agree that things should be polished and 100% working.
That being said, name a game that has come out from ANY mainstream developer that didn't have a day 1 patch or was completely fine 1st day?
Now when you jump on something 1st day there isnt much time to research. But you should probably expect things to be wrong. ESPECIALLY with this game.
However this post comes out 5 months after the release of the chapter. It works. Some bugs. Hell the whole game is buggy. Failure to protect yourself, with the buggy reputation this game has, is not the developers fault.

You didn't read the fine print sorry.

If you’re on Amazon looking for a new toaster oven and you buy one that has terrible quality and rightfully so has bad reviews but you’re too lazy to look at the reviews, is it not your fault that you wasted money on that? That’s why you should’ve done research and looked at reviews before buying a product.

When you play dbd, you automatically sign a contract with the EULA. That EULA states that content you buy with real money can't be refunded.
