Which Killer has the most uninteresting design?
Comments

Power : Trapper. Just boring for both sides.
Design : Nemesis because he is too smol

Well we don't have Walmarts for starters...

IMO Wraith. I may be a little biased because I hate his guts. 😂

Trickster. He's certainly well done, but I really can't enjoy his design. To me he just looks like a flashy exhibitionist. Even his weapon... is it a bat, is it an axe? Just pick one!

Plague. Shes the most uninteresting out of all the killers. Playing as and against.

Compared to other killers at the time she was released, yes. Now, not so much.
Keep in mind that, as much as anyone may hate Trickster, he has at least a touch more complexity to his power, even without add-ons. Laceration, Main Event, and then all the additions that add bounce and splash, and other such things.
Is he tremendously complex?
No. But he is a touch more so than big mama "throw axes"
And before you possibly come in with any insults, I do like Huntress quite a bit, so no fussing, yeah? Bear Mom is probably one of my favorite killers, while Trickster is only moderately entertaining--in a pity way, at that.

Definitely Legion

Legion. The power behind him is just boring to go against, not game changing for either side tbh. It just makes a game go very fast (no one heals) or very slow (everyone heals).
Id rather they had a more impactful power or something that doesnt involve sitting mending for half the game haha

Wraith is as interesting as a stick

Trickster is pure mediocrity of character and game design. He is just Huntress again, with lots of small knives instead of big hatchets. He even has a Lullaby to prove it. And a compleltly tacked on and shallow theme too. Being a K-pop guy has nothing to do with any of his abilities. Its purely cosmetic. Even is name is hollow. There is nothing tricky about him.

Twins.
Their backstory isn't spooky, creepy, or sinister. But it ALSO isn't especially sympathetic and definitely doesn't justify them being set to a "hunt and kill forever" purgatory. They're pathetic. Just sad peasants. And that plays into their appearance as well. They look dirty and shabby and - again - pathetic. Even Victor isn't especially monstrous or even gory.
I don't care for their power either, but that's a distant third to how bad their visual and lore design is. Most OC killers have a lot of thought put into their backstory, appearance, or both. Twins falls completely flat.

Why has nobody said trapper?

Several people have said Trapper.

Its legion personally if they were reworked into a Tyler Durdan type killer it would be way more original i dunno why but they always sorta reminded me of fight club

Freddy. At least he is doing his job right because I always fall asleep while playing him.
1 -
Probably Clown. Because he's just a clown lmao

U can hear Wraith breathing moving from 30m distance? Cause otherwise if he comes close enough he spots u and it doesn't matter do u hear him or no.

Probably Trapper or Myers in my opinion. I've never really been a huge fan of the slasher movies that are "big guy with big weapon, covered face, and no personality".
I like my killers/villains in any form of media to be "flashy" in their personality and looks (I mean.. my name says it all as to who my husband is and how flashy he is compared to the rest of the killer roster). But aside from DBD, I would say my favorite classic slasher is Chucky and Tiffany from Child's Play — who both have flashy looks and personalities. But that's just my personal preference.

Clown and wraith

They asked which killer has the most boring design and I simply answered. No need to make a fuss if someone doesn't like your favourite killer lol.

There is so many cool ideas you could do with a k-pop killer. That industry is riddled with so much corrupt awful cruelty. Hell the killer could be a stan who takes over the life of his favourite idol. You could have had an indivigual a hollow person who the industry has dehumanised to a point that he turns to sadistic slaughter of others.
Why not play up an abusive manager who insists on making those under him abide by his cruel standards of living. Its crazy how disturbing the k-pop industry is and its lack of regulation. The theme of ji - woon is he was a sadist from day 1 and is egotistical. Many killers in dbd are defined by the enviroment they grow up in. For ji woon he always was a terrible person who just so happend to be a k-pop star.
From an aesthetic viewpoint I don't have an issue with him he could adopt one or two more monstrous features i guess. But the main issue for me is he says nothing about the k-pop industry and it explores no nuanced takes on what can drive a person to commit henious acts.

Wraith and Trickster.
Wraith is played only in one scenario - bombing. All you have to do as surv and obly thing is to stand on the pallet or near the safe window. There is no looping and any other activity involved whatsoever.
Trickster has also no looping especially after his buffs. He has enough amoubt of daggers to put you in dying state since you can harass surv with any hole possible. The only help are high objects if any on map.
The best mechanics with much fun is Doctor, Huntress, good legion players and Pig i think

I'm simply asking. I don't consider trickster to be my favorite, but I don't like how the community undervalues his lore and design. Like imagine trying to implement something kpop related in a horror-based game and do a somewhat decent job at it too.

the wallhack addon he has is 12m, so yes. We I assumed were also talking about when he walks up on walls and sees people through them. Anyone can run BBQ loi

This made me laugh

That’s because BHVR was pandering to the Koreaboo/BTS community with that one. Lazy visual design and boring power.

Being difficult is not an excuse for it to be half-assed. Trickster is just a K-Pop star with blood on it. Many times BHVR has managed to pick something unusual and deliver good results. Plague and Twins represent that very well.
