I'm concerned that we're only getting a midchapter with this many changes to it because Mclean wanted to leave DBD on a high note by pouring his heart and soul into this patch.


compared to literally every other patch we've had since the 5th anniversary the norm was 2/3 perk changes , a few add on tweaks for one or two killers and some tweaking to the base power of the most recently released killer


unless BHVR follow up with consecutively good patches to the quality of this one then i fear the playerbase will drop faster than they did after Resident Evil's release left DBD in an abysmal state.

    I think that its more that BHVR likes to save up big changes so that they can do them all at once. Billy and Bubba's reworks were done at the same time. Demo's, Huntress', and Freddy's add-on pass were also done at the same time.

    Yeah I do have that concern as well. wWe'll just have to wait and see. It would be really awesome if we would be getting these type of balance updates frequently now, as this game really needs it.

    I think they postponed some stuff from the last midchapter to this midchapter because of the performance stuff and bugs they had to focus on for last midchapter.

    just an assumption though.


    i hope these kind of changes will be the norm for midchapters, that way the game doesn’t get as stale and the Meta should not be the only stuff to be seen
