Which Anime would you like to see in Dbd?
This will be based on scary, dramatic, and/or popular anime. We've haven't had an Anime chapter or characters yet. The satisfaction survey showed options for Anime or Manga.
It doesn't have to be a complete chapter. Maybe a paragraph or some Licensed cosmetics. We got the Crypt TV cosmetics.

I won't claim to be an expert on any of these and I can't speak for all of them, but I am familiar with most of them and a decent chunk just aren't very fitting.

I second this. For instance, an "Attack on Titan" game could be very cool, but I don't see how it would fit with DBD. However, I'll flip the question and say I would love a Trickster anime. Seeing the people around him slowly get suspicious of his nefarious deeds would be a great story.

...None? None of these manga are very scary really, creepy at best.
Manga and Anime unless stylistically butchered would never fit in DBD. No, I really doubt anyone would really enjoy running away from Trapper as Dwight next to fuggin Edward Elric or Eren Jeager.
If you want it that's fine, but I would at best maybe want some outfits or something.

None as while they may have horror elements to a degree none of them actually fit with the way gameplay and lore in dbd works.
Also, Soul Eater, Demon Slayer, Attack on Titan, and Full Metal Alchemist have their own games already.

Kaneda (Akira)

Where's the option for "None. Ever."

I second this second. A trickster anime would be something I would be very interested in, as we slowly see the pressures and pleasures of celebrity life change who the trickster is as a character and speaks on questions of how attention and fame changes a person, and conversely how we put too much faith and benefits (of doubt) into our personal idols who we exalt and venerate.
On the other hand, this also just extends to a general statement where I would also just in general be interested in a Dead By Daylight TV show. Perhaps as an anthology where every episode focuses on a different character, I guess sort of like how the archives are set up now, before diving into a more concrete story that takes place within the realm of the entity.

I do hope that BHVR is working on something like that behind the scenes. If we can have RE games and movies, why not a Trickster anime? Or a DBD anthology similar to "Love Death + Robots" on Netflix?

I could see a DBD show which actually focuses on the story of a survivor we don't see in game, although features the survivors we do see like Nea or Dwight who he gradually meets. Perhaps with cameos of popular characters like Bruce Campbell as Ash Williams or Joe Keery as Steve, or Kyle Gallner as Quentin. It could be set up and presented almost like the Rogue One of Dead By Daylight- which tells the story of a character in the pursuit of a goal who is ultimately killed in the process of achieving it. But in the end, provides the tools necessary for the characters we are familiar with (Dwight, Claudette, Jake, Meg, etc.) to succeed (or at least survive) in their own stories.
Just an idea BHVR.

Death Note
A lot of anime sadly probably wouldn’t fit into the game. There’s a huge lack of horror anime, let alone POPULAR horror anime. There’s a lot of horror esque stuff though like the stuff you’ve mentioned, but a lot of these wouldn’t fit.
If I HAD to choose, it would probably be Death Note, the live action could be inplemented (easier than implementing straight anime characters, I could see a more realistic Light though), it’s not directly horror but is very much iconic and has enough horror elements that I think it could fit. Parasite I haven’t seen but from what I HAVE seen, maybe? But mostly no. The rest of these are either too ‘anime’ or would be hard to implement (looking at you AOT, though a gigantic killer could be really unique as an idea).
Out of ANY anime license I’d love to see, it’d be Akira, the characters I feel are ‘realistic’ enough to be implemented into a more realistic style and get away with it. Tetsuo could absolutely work as a killer with a really powerful ability that makes him weaker the more he abuses it.
Akira is an EXTREMELY iconic and influential anime, though sadly it’s not really a horror film, it’s hard to consider it a thriller either. It has disturbing scenes and elements but has always been more of a staple of cyberpunk. I would kill for an Akira chapter, though it would definitely be breaking some rules in my mind. I would main Tetsuo and Kaneda in a heartbeat.
This doesn’t really MEAN much, but a lot of characters have cyberpunk esque haircuts, so someone in BHVR definitely loves their cyberpunk.

Tokyo Ghoul
What about devilman crybaby I think it has elements that could work. Or Monster, have a human killer such as yohan idk how that would work but I feel that they would fit the game. Junji itos work would be intresting to see as well.

none of these, really. with the uzumaki anime coming next year i'd be interested to see if something comes of that, but that's so heavily stylized that it would be very easy to botch. i'd imagine if the license went to anyone, it'd be IDV.

Tokyo Ghoul
I voted but I would have to say none in my honest opinion. I don't think the style fits in with DBD, I can't imagine seeing anime characters going around the map.
