Pallet saves are broken
three in 1 day now i’ve had a pallet save where i’ve gotten the stun sound, the points for killer stun and the survivor hasn’t come off the shoulder, it’s also happened to my buddy.
yes i know reverse pallet stuns we’re removed, no it was no a reverse pallet stun. it was a normal pallet save.
please fix pallet saves

You are sure you didn't do it too early? I haven't had any problems with pallet stuns but I may be just lucky of course.

I've had no problems either. It's a matter of timing, if you slam the pallet when they're still in the middle of the animation, nothing will happen.

There's def an issue because even my Power Struggle failed to work when I was doing that challenge, and it happened to a random person on Gideon. They were at that pallet near the corner stairs with the narrow hall behind it. And before anyone asks, we both had Flip Flop equipped, and he was 99% because I went to pick him up, but he signaled not to. I saw The Oni grab, get stunned but no drop. It also happened to me against The Spirit and I was also already well beyond 75% recovery so was instantly at least 35% wiggle and nothing happened.

absolutely positive, i have 4000 hours on survivor and have gotten countless pallet saves, i also get the “killer stun” score event so if i was doing it too early i wouldn’t be getting the points for “stunning” the killer.
ive had 3 pallet saves fail on me today and i’ve gotten maybe 4 that have actually worked so i’m not sure what’s going on

You get the stun points whenever you slam it on the killer’s face. Doesn’t matter whether or not the animation is finished. Same goes to Head On

Oh, fair enough. There's been a lot of strange things going on ever since they've removed the reverse pallet stuns, I wonder if there's a way to replicate this. My best guess is that it could have something to do with the Killer's center being closer to "your side of the pallet", resulting in a buggy behaviour due to the recent changes. I'll try to keep an eye out.

Oh that's not an issue with pallet saves.
That's an issue with devs forcing killers to be on the other side of the pallet if a survivor stuns them. Power Struggle is currently broken.

I remember reading but what is all that about. So by forcing the killer to the other side of you on a pallet it cancels PS?

I don't know why, but you can actually time the stun wrong. You have to wait until the killer is able to move, then drop it. Same with flashlight saves. Don't know why we need to time these things.

Otherwise it's a living hell for killers
It used to be like that for ONE patch, then it was reverted immediately after because there was nothing killer could do to prevent a pallet/flashlight save
Basically what used to happen during the 1.9.2 patch was:
- Killer starts picking up survivor
- During the pick up animation, someone throws a pallet on the killer or blinds them
- Killer finishes the pick up animation
- Killer gets stunned, dropping the survivor

Without video it's pretty hard to say what happened. I've been pallet saved though in the last few days and nothing has changed on our end since the last patch.
As others have said, you get the stun scoring event if you've stunned the killer, but stunning the killer doesn't necessarily give you the save - the save is down to timing. At a guess I'd say the timing is off when you're making a save but without video we can't really tell.

i assure you my timing was not off, one fo them was against a nemesis and he straight up walked threw the pallet. i threw it on him, had the stun sound and got the stun points. he was not in animation lock as he was walking threw the pallet to get to a hook.
i will make a clip next time it happens, i assure you i have not messed up the timing, the nemesis was walking in motion.

my man i did not miss time the pallet throw, they were in motion when i threw it. i know how to pallet save, today alone i’ve gotten like 5 that actually worked and 3 that failed, all of which where the same timing. i did not nor do i miss pallet saves.

I don't care if you got the timing perfectly and I don't care if you've gotten the most pallet saves globally, I'm correcting your misinformation that you don't get the score event if you mistime the stun. Because you do.

Not entirely sure but i feel like it's an issue with Nemesis. The other day i got the stun points and clearly heard the sound as well yet Nemesis was still able to use his whip and down me with it.
Really weird.
