keyboard & Mouse support on consoles?
I have a pc, BUT all my progress is stuck on ps4/ps5 since i started on console. On games that do support it I've played fine on my ps5 and felt almost similar to pc besides the high fps. Not sure if this is something the devs would ever add since they've said once they don't plan to. Though the game is crossplay now so just having the option to let players use it on console would be great!

Yep, Devs just don't care enough about console to add it. Game has crossplay and keyboard/mouse is not expensive in the slightest, so there is no excuses for why it SHOULDN'T be on console. But the game on older gen is still broken to all hell and back, and keyboard/mouse support doesn't make money like cosmetics do, so it's probably never coming.
Same with cross progression, remember that? HA

When asked for it in a Q&A (December iirc) they said it’s harder to implement than people assume.
which means they have at least looked into it but can’t confirm if they ever do it or when they would get it done.

Dbd shud get removed from gamepass if they going to neglect the new players ( console players ).

There is no reason someone should not be allowed to use whatever peripheral they want to use unless it's so good that it's cheating, yes, MnK can be better than Controller in many situations, but if even a couple big competitive FPS games allow you to use what you're comfortable with, DBD should allow so as well
