Republish Hawkins without ST IP in it.

Hawkins is one of my favourite indoor maps. It's difficult to make an indoor map that's fun and not overly frustrated. Indoors is always difficult for new players. Hawkins felt very balanced and really fun to play in. As such, it's sad to see it go.

afaik, Hawkins was made in-house. This means none of it is owned by Stranger Things other than their IP that was placed in it. Elements such as names, and if they provided sound, music, textures, etc.

Unless the contract somehow negates this possibility, BE can easily republish Hawkins with a different title and whatever remaining IP/copyrighted content removed. The layout is not identical to the television show. I doubt the portal could even be considered infringing unless the model came directly from ST.

    Im counting the days until this horrible mess of a map is removed from the game and i hope and pray everyday until the same happens to the police station!

    It was the only map that I loved to play Mirror Myers on since they busted all the pallets on Lèry's.

    And The Game is to open upstairs, and RPD is too large.

    horrible mess of a map

    What? There's nothing messy about it. It's basically a straight hallway split up into four separate hallways. Lerry's and meatplant are way more 'messy', whatever that means. I dislike the police station as well.

    Meatplant is very maze-like and every time they do a graphics update I have to relearn the whole map and finding gens in it is impossible. Most of the gens in Hawkins is along the outside walls. I don't have much fun in the school indoors map mainly due to layout.


    imo, funnest maps in the game (for survivor) in no particular order:

    Hawkins

    Gas station

    Backswater wamp.


    If there was a map that should be taken out of circulation it's definitely not Hawkins and instead one of the bigger maps that are really open and lack pallets that lack fun gameplay elements.
