A new RE Discovery
Look at this man... It's so sad. This chapter was so rushed that he has damn clearly visible holes in his hands. Please devs, just remake and fix Nemesis. Make an entire chapter just as a REmake or something IDK anymore. Maybe that's your plan to give the feeling of the remake stuff but instead those games were both good and this first adaptation is absolutely awful. I just want my Nemesis in DBD. And you failed in every single way. Just make him actually feel like Nemesis and not a zombie general.

No one else has noticed this and likely doesn't care either.
There is a problem with bhvr rushing out unfinished/unfixed content, but this is really not one of their worst examples. There's better hills to die on.

Clipping happens in every game its one of those things you starting finding if youve ever worked in 3d development

His zombie AI doesn't work. The two undead lovebirds spend more time caressing each other over some rock in the corner of the map instead of maybe trying to harass some survivors. This relates to gameplay, is the inside of his hands really a more definitive sign of a substandard product?

Not when the devs think it's not broken. You should report this as a bug. But constantly looking for the bad in a one and done deal DLC is not healthy

My guess is that the model used in dbd was provided by Capcom i dont think they recreated it probably just had to adjust the skeleton for whatever rig setup dbd uses. I am not saying this to excuse that from slipping past the QA department its just that when working with any other companies properties your often forced to leave it as is especially when they are picky about their work.

I was just talking to my friend about this. I feel for the guy, it sucks that Nemesis was treated a bit dirty, but there's times where you need to just give up and accept that BHVR messed stuff up.

I mean DBD makes the models. Why would Capcom make it? I mean as you can see the textures are god awful on him. Other killers have way better textures. Would Capcom really do that?

Originally I mained Myers. I love Myers a lot in DBD. Have always been a big defender of him in terms of balancing. In accuracy I think most agree he is basically perfect. For non licensed I LOVE Clown. I also defend him a lot. But I play all the licensed killers. I love them. Except the 1 of course.

I mean I don't really like the zombies anyways. I honestly want them gone. Not just because I want him to be more accurate but I just find them boring as hell. The majority of the time the zombies hurt me by blocking me than helping.

I also adore clown! Always been a clown defender. I also started out as a Myers main...whole reason I got the game was him.
I really wanted to get into trickster too but he was a struggle on console lol still kinda is...like I wanna get into him but I don't know if I should give up on him and just fully commit to clown as my shard dump for outfits lol

Yeah basically. I can do very well with Clown and Michael the majority of the time. I don't like using add-ons so it is probably holding me back a little bit.

I like hording add-ons too...I like seeing the numbers go up LMAO. I usually use browns that I have alot of or none. What you usually run on ole Mikey, clown, nemmy build wise?
On Mikey I been running corrupt, bbq, pop, infectious/bamboozle.
Clown is usually anti heal build...lol
Nemmy...sorta all over the place can't really decide yet

On Michael I like Bamboozle, Ruin, Monitor, and Pop. I also swap pop for Fire Up sometimes when I feel like it for extra fast vaults.
For Clown its Brutal Strength, Fire Up or Enduring, Ruin, and STBFL.
For Nemesis I'm using Bamboozle, Ruin, Pop, and STBFL

They have a lot of properties to manage. Can't do them all right now. And they're a buisness. Obviously they are gonna focus on the big ones a lot more. But they do smaller ones. I mean they are making a remake of damn Power Stones right now. But the licenses they do use a lot like RE they actually listen to fans and know what RE is supposed to be.

I get that and understand that they are a company with a lot of properties but I still can see them giving a basic 3d model of nemi for them to use and rework to fit the game and you also need to remember that Capcom would also have to approve how the character would act in this game

Thing is, it's RE coming to DBD, not DBD coming to RE.
If you want Nemesis to be more like REsistance, the entire game of DBD needs a rework on health systems, objectives and classify what would do how much damage. I mean, sure, give him a rocket launcher in the game right now. What do you think would happen? 1 healthstate per shot like huntress? Is that what you think would make Nemesis feel more powerful? A fast speeding rocket exploding in your face to only cause survivors to hobble around?
Ofcourse not.
Instadown them? Would feel like Nemesis, but you'd essentially have a character that is Iri Head Huntress as a basekit. Would be awful balancing-wise.
Could they have done better? Not really. Better AI, broader addons, maybe, but power-wise? It's actually quite good.
This is the realm of The Entity, it is in control of what happens around these parts. Nemesis not having a rocket launcher, is The Entity not allowing Nemesis to have a rocket launcher. Nemesis didnt exactly get here by choice either. The Entity is like a honey badger, it takes what it wants.

Honestly they probably would've approved of almost anything. BHVR decided to present a power with zombies and they probably just said sure go ahead.

The thing is I you can balance it. I don't care how they balance it. They could make it the worst killer for all I care. Just add the abilities in some form. And a rocket launcher can work. It can work how it does in REsistance but tweaked for DBD. Like getting it in a different way and having 1 shot perk rocket and it is just an instadown. Nemesis can work. Everyone tells me DBD isn't RE and that is my point. The Nemesis in DBD right now make it feel more like RE than Nemesis and Nemesis can fit perfectly in DBD's world.

Speaking of fire up, I really wish that perk had some number buffs. It feels like that perk would be perfect for Mookel.
Dang no bbq builds? I can't go without it, just bc those bps feed my add-on and perk/p3 grinding on my killers! I really wish that bp stuff was basekit, I'd never use wglf or bbq if it was.
Yeah your Mikey build sounds like fun! Clown...I get it make him a monster at chase and munch through pallets, as for Nemmy why bamboozle? I'm curious as I can't think of why it'd be special on him other then just wanting to get easier loops...maybe to get them in the open for a easy tentacle hit?
Wanna know what's fun to mess around with? Spirit fury nemmy, even without enduring, if they decide to play around it and predrop, boom easy tentacle hit/pallet break with ur tentacle anyways. Basically them playing around spirit fury is still a net gain for u. Try it out one day!!

As a DBD content creator who is very familiar with the game's character models, I've noticed that the final geometry/meshes consistently have misplaced verts, but only by tiny degrees so that in typical situations you'll never notice them. Something to do with the way they're retopo'd I guess.
As for the OP's discovery, yes this would be a very easy fix for the art team, but odds are it won't happen. Time budgets are always tight in game dev, and if it hasn't been fixed by now (and people have been pointing out his hole hands for months) then it simply won't happen. Too low priority.
