Uninstalling on PS4
I'm done.
5 months of being unable to play the game due to terrible performance is to long.
I genuinely hope someone with a bigger brain then me takes this to a court room because this is not right, and it should not be allowed to be swept under the dusty old rug of time.

Because of the lags, freezes, and the horrible fps.

You should clarify your reason as to stopping than confusing everyone.
The old generation consoles, especially if it's a standard PS4 and Xbox one can't play DBD on the new graphics. They are just too outdated and need the old graphics back to work properly.
At the same time, while I obviously don't know your reasons or financial situation in your personal life, the regular PlayStation 4 which I assume you're playing on is nearly 10 years old. In the world of gaming, and technology, your PlayStation is ancient, and it will struggle to go on as games move ever forward.
This is the way.

If they added cross-progression this wouldn't be as much of a problem, I have no interest in getting a ps5 and the only real way I would upgrade to PC is if cross-progression was a thing which it isn't yet.

I mean it got better since the dreaded re chapter. They are improving it somewhat and continue to do so.
Is it really that bad for you now? Im on ps4 pro and while it is not perfect it was a lot worse months ago.

i have literally been bothering them for ages asking for when we'll finally get ps4 and pc cross-progression. i guess since switch is finally getting theirs, i hope we're next. i'm literally sick of it.
i have a pc ready for when they do decide to finally do this, and i hope it's soon. a lot of people would be happy. last-gens can barely run the game properly anymore and reality is nobody is going to get a ps5 or start FRESH on a pc just because bhvr is too lazy to work out the cross progression.

Yeah since the dh fix game is running a little better for me. And it will get better in the next update when some of the other things get fixed too, I hope.
I am only worried about console overheating but I played a lot and nothing happened. Still it is not ideal at all.

Yeah, I really hope the next update does not bring the overheat issue again. My PS4 was literally shutting down on the title screen before the pinhea update, I could not play at all.

I’ve had my original xbox one since Xmas 2014. It shocks me to see newer models are having issues.

Just to point out: I play on the Xbox One, and although I have a rare blip, I have no issues with how it runs. It's smooth, hasn't disconnected or frozen for a long, long time and works well, so I don't believe the graphics are the problem (or at least the main problem).

Sorry to hear, man. This really is a damn shame. I’m no programmer, but logic tells me the best way to improve & work on performance would be NOT to add any more assets to the game. Work on the current build, then take it from there. It’s a business and different teams do different things- I get it. But it’s not right to treat 8th gen like this.
