Activate anti-cheat support for Linux via Wine or Proton
Three days ago Epic Online Services launched anti-cheat support for the Wine and Proton compatibility layers on Linux. Developers can activate anti-cheat support for Linux via Wine or Proton with just a few clicks in the Epic Online Services Developer Portal.
Please may DEAD BY DAYLIGHT activate support for Linux via Wine or Proton? By supporting the Wine and Proton compatibility layers on Linux DEAD BY DAYLIGHT will be playable on Linux machines and handheld devices, for instance, the up and coming Steam Deck.
DEAD BY DAYLIGHT is currently unplayable on Linux due to lack of anti-cheat support. For more information on DEAD BY DAYLIGHT running via the Proton compatibility layer visit ProtonDB.

+1 this would be amazing - especially to be able to play on the Steam Deck when it launches. Epic makes it sound like enabling proton support is pretty straightforward:

But obviously still a +1 from me here, I would love to play dbd on my Steam deck in the future / on my Linux desktop right now!

I would be so grateful if you let us do this, I'd finally be able to play dbd on my laptop as I run Linux only on it and I'd be just that much closer to dropping windows from my life
