To the Stretched Res Users Out There
As someone using an unfair advantage to gain the upper hand, what gives you the right to complain about the way I play? Last night I went against several stretched res TTV's having the audacity to mass report me for "unsportsmanlike behavior" while blatantly cheating. I'm really curious what the mindset is and if people who do this are self-aware.

Sounds like they did you a favor by recording the match for you, giving you ample evidence to report them for something that is actually against the rules

I guess I assumed it was. I don't play PC so I assume you have to do something to the game to let you do it but from The Google, I guess you don't adjust anything. So I may be incorrect.

BHVR told fog whisperers to not use stretch res because they consider it cheating. They just can’t force the public to not use it because it’s something they can’t control.

It gives an advantage by allowing you to see over objects that weren’t intended to be looked over.

Just ignore them fam, they would need to post a video of you doing whatever you were doing that was likely not against the rules UNLESS they refused to do generators. Otherwise, watch out. That one is on you.

For the same reason you see people relentlessly defend their right to play however they want even if it's an "unpopular" or "unfun" way, then doing a 180 and uncontrollably seething the microsecond their opponent(s) do the exact same thing.
People aren't perfectly rational, they don't always consider (or even care) if they seem like gigantic hypocrites. If they did you wouldn't see megamind stuff like people running the strongest possible setups they can crying about the opposition doing the same.

let's be honest. the only people who use stretch res are to have an advantage over the killer. they wanna be a sweaty survivor who is always able to loop the killer all game. and if they don't they complain at end game chat calling killers a "cheater, camper, salty killer, noob, garbage killer, no skill, tryhard, Etc."
As a survivor main I can tell you this is a mindset of all survivors who use stretch res. I never used stretch resolution but I can clearly see survivors who do use it have an upper hand.

To the stretch res topic, if you use it and don't mind others using it then I give you props, take this advice I will tell you to heart ok? If someone complains about you, then you are doing something good in the game, the more insults and such you get the better you are at the game.

Yeah, similar situation. Was playing Michael and got sent to Badham, epic TTV 4 man stretched res that all reported me cause I camped one out in the end game. Crying about my tactics while playing in an aspect ratio wider than 70 tiers on the rift.

I don't know what you're trying to prove here.... a haystack is a piss poor example of painting stretched res as a 'bad thing'- You can still see legions head even without it, if you're going to post examples use GOOD ONES. Reminds me of when I got called a cheater for seeing the killer through the wood board jungle gyms before they changed the textures to prevent that.

What I don't get is why people like to watch stretched res streamers outside of the friendship circle people use to fake their way to affiliate. It looks like ######### and if somebody has to use it then I can't imagine their gameplay is interesting either.

ShadowBorn should be buffed to make it really worth a perk slot, not having it basekit, because people will ask more. The perk should also come with survivors glowing in the dark like Freddy dream world so it make survivors impossible to hide in the dark.

I tried Stretched res once because I wanted to understand why some people like using it and why people think it's cheating. And oh my god, everything suddenly became so easy. Because you could literally see everything the killer did over almost any loop. I felt so bad.
I played like 3 games with stretched res, but then I had to stop. Because I didn't like the way it looked and it was really boring lmao

Res stretching reminded me of I and my friends went to Laser shooting gun game. That Im the tallest of all and I was the only one can see my friends over walls.
