if you lunge correctly you can counter dead hard

So you just want to be completely invincible is what you’re saying?

No, but I expect the perk to dodge a hit like it's meant to. I mean I shouldn't be getting hit the end of a swing anyways.

Because you didn't time it correctly. That is why I think Dead Hard is fine, it takes a lot more skill than killer mains credit.

As much as I love doing this I do think dead hard should not work vs hatchets, slinger shots or trap's. It should leave some room for other perk's instead of just being the go to exhaustion perk bar maybe sprint burst in comp. Yes skill but if you wanna see a diverse range of perks higher up your gonna need to tone back perk's that take up so much design space.

If the killer is right on you, literally behind touching you then their lunge will be as long as your Dead Hard, so they can hit you unless the auto-aim messes it up.

lunges last just a little longer than dead hard and are just as fast, so if the killer is close enough and times it right, your dead hard i-frames are gone when you're hit

Dead hard for its intended purpose is fine and takes some skill. But dh for distance against most of the killer roster is legit uncounterable and basically acts as a 3rd health state extending a chase for at least 10 more seconds which can allow a gen to pop in your face.
