Does anyone else miss the old Freddy?
maybe it's just me feeling nostalgia or something, idk
but i really miss old freddy's kit, both playing as and against him. it was fun trying to guess where he was coming from and having to try and figure out a game plan early on, especially based on the builds you make with your perks that can either make the game easier or extremely challenging.
his power was also extremely unique when he had to pull survivors into the dream world. i feel as if they maybe gave him back his old kit but kept some modern things in place, he'd be more fun and interesting to use and play against.

Wasn’t around when Freddy got his rework, so honestly I don’t have a good answer for that. Although, I have seen gameplay of it and it looked interesting.

I do. He was the only killer i had adept on until pinhead. Didnt even know what adepts were. He sucked. But so did/do i

Many of us miss Old Freddy, though sadly it looks like Behavior doesn't have much interesting in returning him to us.

He was the only really unique killer it's a shame more ppl didn't put the time into mastering his old kit. A true OG killer experience

Every freddy main i've seen on the forums say they prefer old freddy.
Personally i think freddy right now is somewhat fun to play, but his add-ons are SO lame. And the original freddy was a better adaption of his source material.
Also, he's not really that good anymore. Cenobite is better.
Personally i hope they rework him again.

Not really, He was so bad at Rank 1. A Terrible Experience.
But I hope BHVR maybe can make you people happy with a throwback Ultra Rare addon instead, that is a much easier request to grant.

The problem with his rework was. While yes he was made stronger they stripped away Freddy’s identity. He just became another Generic M1 killer with traps. The only thing that was unique to Freddy was his teleportation. But what made Freddy interesting was his power was nothing like the others and it matched the movies. This Freddy doesn’t feel like the movie

Yes he was way more interesting to play they managed to turn Freddy into the most bland killer in the game

Hell no. Honestly, I feel like Freddy’s nerfs are a placebo. He’s still a very strong and annoying killer in the right hands. His add-ons weren’t his greatest strength- it’s the perks you give him. He has one of the best map control in the game, and if you combo that with gen regression & info perks, he’s a force to be reckoned with.

He is talking about his old power, not his recent nerf and pre-nerf version.

He probably needed a bit of adjustment, as he was just too good for how easy he was to play.
However, rather than tweaking his kit a bit, they nuked it from orbit.

The Freddy rework is something to look back on, destroying a killer that people loved playing as. It's a reminder that we should be really, really careful of what some of us wish for next time. (there were people who thought he needed a rework, all old Freddy needed was buffs and the QoL treatment)

I didn't miss Old Freddy since Freddy's rework was live before I started playing the game. However I've seen videos of how he played and... yikes he looked fun. I'm a bit sad I missed him.
This is why I don't want Legion to get a rework. They need some buffs, but I really don't want their power replaced with something else.

Exactly. Legion shouldn't be given a rework, they need buffs, and I enjoy playing them. Maybe unless the rework still has similar gameplay to Legion, like the Frenzy gameplay, but I'd rather them buff Legion.

Yep, I kind of miss him. Yes, he was bad at higher ranks, but he was also fun to play and fun to go against.

He would be able to use SO MUCH new perks and take advantage of it.
Imagine him and Hysteria. Instant aura reading on every survivor on the map.

I too miss ancient Freddy.
His weaknesses could have easilly been smoothed out with some buffs.
Add incapacitated to survivors tagged with his power and 90% of his issues would have been gone

Old Freddy actually felt like playing Freddy, manually putting everyone to sleep and not being able to see him unless you are asleep. Nowadays he's just a Freddy cosplayer who has a better version of clowns power and a teleport.

Really enjoyed playing as him, with the purple Z block and the red paint brush, they always thought they have enough time to get to the pallet 🤣
Wish we could switch between old freddy and his add ons and the new with the new add ons
