You're forced to lose your mmr to have fun in this game.
You just can't have fun with mmr system in this game anymore. If you want to keep playing you have to lose your mmr or your neurons will eventually die.
I got my rank 1s and now i play perkless/add-onless killers and no mither survivors just to lose a lot of games and lose my mmr. There is no reason to keep it high. This game becomes like a job. It was just 1 month and i already straight up not having fun and this is the only way i'll keep playing.
Maybe we should ask question is mmr even worth it if we can't have fun anymore.

I've decided to take off all of my gen regression stuff and just use shadowborn and chase perks on my blight. just to train with him while my MMR would eventually fall. or else i can't play this game anymore.

I stopped caring about rank and fair matchmaking when I switched from Overwatch to this game. If I have to meme around and let sweaty tryhards spam flashies for a few games so I can run what I want, so be it.
EDIT: Posted before I finished- run meme builds and try to get super hard personal achievements. Right now I'm trying to get MoM to activate, but I'm only using No Mither and OoO. No items, addons or offerings either. In solo queue.

0 fun on this game currently. Just sweatry tryhards that need win at cost of fun of the game. First 2 games facecamped on first hook.
3rd game I face a Pig. At beggining of game I just approach to say hi by boop the snoot (it was 10 seconds in game). I approach her bending on knees and pointing with finger. This killer attacks me instant, and chase me on a dead zone. 2nd hit, bear trap and bassement. 1 just suicided on hook... This community it´s so toxic....0 sportmanship, 0 honor, 0 fun.....just toxicity. And game desing encourages it.

Problem is when killers do stuff like that with a survivor, the other three survivors use that time to work on a generator. Before you know it all of the survivors are tea bagging you at the exit gates.

I am sorry to tell you this, but this game is not "befriend the killer simulator", you were really pety for just killing yourself on hook because things did not go your way.

I decided to use LF and camp every single survivor i get, never drop a chase, never blink, never allow them to leave the hook, never respect a pallet, and so i either lose the match, and thus my MMR, or i win with 4 easy kills, which equals to FUN, so yeah this seems fine to me.

It should speak to how bad the system is for this kind of game if you are required to go against people above your level just from winning some matches.
I mainly wish queue times were better, MMR has given longer queues with awful matches.
Really wish they made MMR a toggleable option, I, and I assume many others would be perfectly fine with some unbalanced games if it meant queue times were faster.

Even if she hitted me twice and put a bear trap, I could even accept. What she did was just too much taking advantage of someone trying be nice.
I stayed to see the end. She had 0 mercy on the rest of survs. Neither let hatch for last surv after a 3 vs 1. Last one tried boop and he was killed with hits on hook.
And There are many killers like this guy that need win at any cost and show a lot of toxicity in game.

Oh no not my MMR.
I am a bit tilted since I'm trying to do the stun/blind a killer 4 times in one match. High MMR killers don't make setting those things up easy, let alone 4 times in one match.

Yes, I know. I ran into 2 lightborns, a Twins player that chased with Victor and a Leatherface with Franklins today. I have hundreds of flashlights and I know I'll get it eventually if I try but I'm not really impressed at the moment.
Edit: I usually escape so my MMR isn't lowering. Pain.

This is like touching gloves on boxing. Usually people touch gloves when the fight or round starts in a signal of respect and sportmanship. There are fighters that don't have any ethic or moral code and will try the knockout as the bell sound, knowing that their rival is not going to attack or defense.
I would be ashamed of "winning" like that. Just cheap dirty people see the glory on those "victories".
The point is, what type of competitor u wanna be? I could have a higher MMR if I played selfish on solo Q and my scape rate would be higger if all I'do was gen rush.
But I'm not going to gen rush a killer that is playing fair, neither leave a teammate die on hook. I like to play nice to people in my game (allies and rivals, everybody deserves respect).

If you really wanna throw the game for it, blind the killer when he's hooking someone, guarnateed blind lol. like literally when he's putting them on the hook.

I used to be able to play this game as killer for hours on end at a time, it was fun.
Now, with MMR, I can only tolerate a couple of games at a time every few days. Playing killer just isn't the same anymore, almost every single game is against survivors who hold W extremely early, drop pallets straight away , play safe, run meta perks to extend chases (I absolutely despise DH, everyone has it) and occasionally are in SWF's to magnify the anti-fun this game.
I just played a game of Bubba on Yamaoka, got 1 hook and lost 3 generators for it. So after losing four generators by the second hook, I just couldn't be bothered anymore and face camped for 2 kills.
Like, can I not play a casual game as killer without needing to sweat every time? You dedicate a minute to a single chase, and lose 2-3 generators for it. It's ridiculous, and it gets so stale very quickly when the only way to win is by tunnelling and camping.
''But just lose, you'll get less MMR and start having fun again'' - Flawed advice, considering I'd need to lose a dozen of games to get anywhere, and once I've climbed back up, what then? I just need to accept that I'm going to get bullied for a couple of games? Such a flawed system, needing to lose to have more fun.

Sounds like you're just entitled and its a personal issue, not a game or community issue. Its okay though, because you're definitely not the only one based off some of the other laughable comments I've seen on the Discord server and these Forums.
It's irritating to most Killers when a Survivor only wants to meme and farm with the killer. Its boring, and its not what people load up their killer for. Imagine having some tough matches against good teams and you're sitting there changing your perks/addons/offering to improve after each match but then you have a group of Survivors that refuse to play the game. Not everybody wants to be a part of a TikTok or a Youtube clip, they want to actually try to win OR get their points OR complete their challenges. None of those include playing around with a Survivor that wants to simp for a specific character, only maybe once in a blue moon. For instance... if Survivors disconnect early in the match because I outplayed them or they just randomly DC for another reason AND the Survivors aren't behaving scummy I let them know I've stopped trying and I'll let them earn points with me. I'll give away the Hatch and let them open the gates if they give me some pallets/gen kicks and a couple of hooks. Sometimes you have limited addons/offerings too, so why would a Killer want to waste their limited resources by refusing to play as intended? That's dumb and only for once in a while wholesome moments. Its not supposed to be an every-time thing and its better that way

You have to de-MMR as killer to have fun. The same does not apply to survivor. Survivors have more fun at high MMR where they can purposefully be slow on gens just to get more chases and flashlight saves in.

You're low MMR if the killer, who's not Leatherface, is camping you from the first. Bad sportsmanship is seen across all grades though.

The thing that breaks balance in this game has a name, its called SWF and there is nothing that the devs can do to change that. Unless they remove it, wich will never happen so.. they are tied to this little monster they created, and are forced to feed his growing hunger forever.

Someone just thanked me for a meme game because I was running spirit fury and enduring on Huntress. Little did they know, I wasn't memeing. Those were my best Huntress perks. Lol. I want iron maiden and lethal so badly.

If you just stop giving a crap what you or your opponents MMR may or may not be, and just play the game, as it was intended, then I guarantee you'll have a much better time.
You won't always win every single game, accept it, instead of blaming it on MMR that you can't see and have no evidence that's the reason behind it.

It´s being deferential and good manners. It´s not like if whe was chasing me and got me in a corner and i raised the wthite flag in my convenience. I was literally chasing her from behind.
If she just didn´t want to meme, 1 hit, 2 hits or even 2 hits and a trap would be an acceptable advantage. What that player did is totally unsportmanship, cheap and toxicity when someone is trying to be nice to him. As important is the victory as the way you get it. I can pass an exam just copying, but in my own I will know I didn´t.

If a killer tunnel to win vs survivor like me who only use Lithe. Im happy because they will increase their sbmm and face DS DH BT and anger themselves. While I drop my sbmm and have a chill game with non-try hard killer.
The game doesnt force you to lose. If you want to win more, either try harder or play better (or both). Eventually you will have the same win rate. The sbmm is fair for everyone.

I disagree, I've been having fun just playing normally. Some games are sweaty, but not all. Maybe this is a hot take, but I haven't noticed much difference since MMR went live. I play to win though, you might not.
