BHVR, do you know there are cheaters in the game?
Yes, same story.
Yes, private steam account.
Yes, I have reported it for the last time.
Yes, I've DCed, because they also can hold me as a game hostage for 2 hours.
Yes, flying dwight with insta headon and increased run speed, who dropped on my head.
BHVR, do you know you have cheaters in the game, who use the same kind of cheats?
Should I also go and by private undetectable cheats to beat the hackers?

They know, they just don't care.

Of course they're aware, but as long as EAC exists despite doing literally nothing they have an excuse.
Tbf, they could be working on something or trying to procure a contract for a better anticheat and we wouldn't know; I doubt it can happen overnight, but let's be frank, the cheating has been happening all along - it's just exacerbated by the lack of punishment and the awful new matchmaking system.

It obviously has increased since the new SBMM came out, and stretched rez / overlays came more to light.
Players basically responded to SBMM as the game turning competitive so they seeked out hack clients for the competitive edge. It happened in Counter Strike, League, Dota, Overwatch, Apex, and every other competitive game out there. Some players just got sick of the unfair advantage they had against players with overlays and stretched rez, so they resort to cheating to fill the gab. Other players just got sick of how stressful the game is for solo survivor or Killers, which isn't being addressed and they keep buffing SWF.
Like you would be blind not to see how it's become much more popular recently, especially considering all the factors that would drive more players to do it. The fact they are seemingly doing nothing about it just makes players feel safer doing so, and once they get away with it for a bit - their hooked.

Even prominent content creators and fog whisperers outright say they don't bother reporting hackers anymore because they said it's pointless. Many of them said they reported and saw the same people they reported and nothing happened or cite people can just pay $2 for a new account.

When there's a cheater in the trial, I just don't play. There's nothing else to do.

I'd seen this happen on Otz's stream & a few other streamers , insta heals , insta recover , moving at high speeds , didn't realise it was so rampant . Then I encountered one for myself last night ! Nothing subtle about it either , zooming all over the place , healing in the blink of an eye , crazy stuff , and so blatant . This person didn't care if they were being reported or filmed , makes me wonder how often it's happenning without me realising . Poor stuff

Obviously they do know about the massive rise of cheaters. Imo, we´re faced with two possible conclusions:
A) They just don´t care. Sadge!
B) They are unable to handle the situation from a technical standpoint. RIP!
Either way, it´s propably save to assume that the situation will only worsen from now up to the point where people literally stop playing the game. Maybe then they will implement a working anti cheat or a reasonable, effective report and replay system. I don´t even play killer myself anymore because of the cheater pandemic.

They certainly know, but it would be nice to have it acknowledged publicly. There's a cheater in like 10-20% of my matches recently. It was pretty rare to see a cheater just a few patches ago.

What I do now as a precaution -- I check the survivors' steam profiles and if I see one private -- I leave the lobby.
During the night times in my region queues are almost instant, I can afford this.

The Q&A Stream is today, hopefully we get an answer on the cheating situation!
