Was brutal strength faster back then
What I mean is I ran brutal strength a lot not as much now depending on who i'm playing but I don't if it's a visual thing but I think last year or two years ago was faster so was it a visual thing or something else.

A long time ago Brutal was 50% at tier 3 according to the wiki

But I remember the base speed for breaking pallets was slower too so the nerf wasn't that big.

Which was then nerfed because base kicking speed was buffed

Didn’t know that oops

Basekit breaking was really slow in the early days. Brutal Strength increased breaking speed by 40 %.
Basically what they did then, they took off 20 % of BS, put it into the basekit and nerfed BS to 20 %, so it's still the same.

With the downside being BS went from being meta to completely useless.

Oh no you don't have to run a perk what a shame.

Not saying that just saying it has joined the pool-er-ocean of bad perks that nobody ever uses. At least it's boring yes.
2 -
Would you rather they fix the base problem or be forced to run a perk to fix the problem as a bandaid

you can check if perks were different by going to the dbd wiki clicking on perks section then going to the page about what perk your interested in and scroll down and it says all the older versions up to the current date :D

Picking up and hooking a survivor was much longer back then too.
Not to also bring up survivor position forcing killer facing direction and pick up vacuum.

Should buff it to 45%.

Why would repeat the same thing someone else said in response to a comment that was itself was in response to the very thing that you repeated. Like what?

I am just saiyan buff Brutal Strength so you have a reason to run it. It doesn't need to be a huge change. Maybe 30% so that when it stacks with Fire Up we get, wait for it... A 50% increase to break speeds (after all gens are done). Wow! INCREDIBLE!

I’m not saying no to buff it I agree the perk needs to be buffed I’m just saying I think they should fix the core problem so you don’t need to run the perk all the time

It's definitely a lower percentage than it should be.
