Bring Back The Fog
And make the game darker. I honestly don't think there are any real problems that would be incurred with this change; there are a million and one anti-stealth perks, powers & addons for killers. The game currently lacks horror atmosphere because it looks like 8 in the morning.

It wouldn't really be fair for console tho.
I know my Nvidia filters are not going to get dark... I like to see those survivors hiding in corners.

Idk man. Console is kinda rough already. maybe for pc players with high quality on.

I feel that all the maps actually even the swamp have gotten substantially brighter and I don't think it's not obvious for the survivor's whom are new and just in general for them to make have a easier time. I actually find in fact I hate this as a killer main. It takes away my challenge.

Have to agree, rhe mist offerings are yseless, maybe buff those? So slightly would equal to double, or even triple than before, and the murky (, greatly increases) should make fog that you can barely see, but having it like this can make it op, so make them not able to stack with other similar offerings. But eh.

Yes please. Increase Fog. As OP said the game lacks horror atmosphere and Fog offerings are useless.

I think they can't buff fog while PS4 players exist unfortunately. The purple fog offerings in particular used to be problematic on that particular platform.
They could just darken the maps for survivors. They need the atmosphere and killers need the vision. (It should work in the lore too as killers are sensitive to light so they should have better dark vision)

You have never played killers on Dead Dawg or Swamp against P3 Clauds and Fengs...

Fog was very thick back in the day, in fact you could basically only see a few meters in front of you. And on maps like Coldwind you could very easily lose track of a survivor

”By Daylight”, meaning before daylight arrives.
It’s funny people consider gen speeds such a problem when the game no longer offers any immersion or chance to hide from the killer. Brighter maps with huge dead zones and gens out in the open are the norm. Separate discussion, but camping and tunneling are the norm. Survivors therefore have no choice but to slam generators.
+1 to OP. Bring back fog, old game atmosphere, and moonlight offerings. Basically, give us Dead by Daylight back.

I mean I'd never find them. They do a gen, then once I left they'd get back on it. It was also a SWF so they could call out if I was staring at them from afar.

Don't just bring back fog, update it so it's more volumetric. Give us eddies and whorls at our feet, give us drifts and tendrils around corners.
And bring back Moonlight Offerings.
