Generators need a rework from the ground up
Generators are the reasons the game currently has lot of issues .
1. The negative on the survivor side is their simply very boring and any nerve experience with them goes away after a few first games. And not challenging. The only time a gen is hard to repair is an impossible skillcheck doc. And some killer perks make it take longer. Which wouldn’t be an issue if gens were fun to interact with. Only pro they can go fast making them easy which they shouldn’t.
2.The negative on the killer side is also they’re not fun to interact with you need to go out of your way to slow them down since they can go too fast. And this forces you to run slow down perks which is lame. Or camp and tunnel also not too exciting.
3.And because of this your given this repeating scenario bad for the game. Survivors rush the gens, killer brings slowdown perks, survivors still get the gens, killer camps and tunnel, survivors spam second chance perks. Again and again. Leading to boring gameplay all thanks to current gen design which kinda ruins the game. And any attempt to break this cycle means you’ll probably loose
4.So gens need a rework badly. The devs said they won’t add another game mode but reworking the gens can make the current one better. Too make gens fun on the survivor side so not every survivor has to be in chase for enjoyment. And in return balance them so killers will not feel forced Ron run slowdown perks

I think kicking gens needs a better regression, like a built in mini pop. I think gens are a bit fast to repair, but I can't see how they can make them less boring as you say. What do you suggest? Puzzles and crosswords?
I think they should add other objectives such as crafting or puzzles, maybe environmental changes, but I can't see how they can rework gens to be more fun for both sides. It is what it is.

Survivors should have an objective that requires them to interact more with the killer.
It's ridiculous how their objective is just, go as far away from the killer as possible and hold m1 for a bit.

Perhaps they implement crafting or puzzles into the gens.

You would think gens would be more interesting than simple skill checks after all these years.

How about an alternative to kicking a gen: once a gen gets to say 25% repaired the killer spends a bit of time (maybe ten or twelve seconds) beating the crap out of a gen, knocking pieces off that survs would have to bolt back on before repairing it again, and that gen is back to zero. Give the killer two times a trial to do this, but not the same gen twice.
The trade-off is when the survs put it back together they repair it a tad more quickly now for a short time.
Of course all of these numbers can be played around with during testing. If implemented I can see a lot of center gens getting many a love tap from killers. I also want to watch Amanda or a lil ol' weegin go ham on a gen!

If they were needing to rework the gens it'd be best to make it more interactive then just hitting a mere skillcheck, maybe depending on the side you are working on will make you have to hit a certain button/key or maybe make the skillchecks a bit more difficult to hit
as well as giving them a Overcharge skillcheck everytime the killer kicks the gen since they can run by and simply tap the gen stopping your pressure with that

I think there needs to be different types of skillchecks.
One where you hold down spacebar, maybe some where you hit them once or twice.
It would make gens be a little more intensive than press spacebar every 10 seconds.

That did make me laugh, the thought of a killer smashing the hell out of the last gen. Some killers should probably get a boost to gen damage anyway. Pretty sure Oni's Kanabo would cause more damage than Hags fingers for example.
